PEAK HAS RETURNED!! Insane timing, I just came back to B3313 today too after losing motivation to play for a while because I lost my 260 star file when switching to a new laptop. The atmosphere and lore of this game are still unmatched. Also I loved the sort of 4th wall break-y B-plot you had going on throughout these videos, it really made this iceberg series even more unique entertaining to watch and fit really well into the vibe of B3313, kinda givng a more coherent narrative to Luigi's fate hinted at in the game.

I like the concept of an evil AI trapping the protagonist of the story, but the story's typical main antagonist is somehow strong enough to muscle territory out of the AI for his own gain, and so the protagonist has to deal with them both.

As someone who's a big fan of Mario 64 Personalized, I really enjoyed this Iceberg series. Especially the theorizing part of it, I find a lot of the observations here to be really interesting. The little B-Plot with Luigi and Mario was cool too, gave the iceberg a nice sense of cohesion. Although I think there are a few things the iceberg should've had, such as how the Toad Creature and the Faceless Toads could be connected, or how B3313 is a lot like Yume Nikki; maybe those entries could be added in the Supercut version of the Iceberg. Either way, this series definitely made me feel like playing B3313 again.

The Bros.’ House area weirdly reminds of the Batman Animated Series episode Perchance To Dream, where The Mad Hatter places an unconscious Batman into a machine where Bruce can live out a perfect life in his dreams. Maybe the B3313 AI created the peaceful area to keep Mario & Luigi there from ever wanting them to continue obtaining Power Stars and just live peacefully form then on.

I'm a little surprised that Act 1 wasn't mentioned on this iceberg. Paraphrasing the wiki: B3313 is typically played in "Act Zero", since it doesn't have an act/Star selction screen like SM64 does. However, Act 1 can be triggered by waiting on the title screen until the "N-n-n-no!" voice sample plays. Act 1 causes several features to unlock; several new stars, the Metal Cap switch appearing in Jolly Roger Lagoon, and extended Bowser dialogue in Eternal Fort, just to name a few. If this was mentioned in a previous part. Uh. Sorry.

Mario and Luigi die a lot in B3313, plus you can play as him in it so I don't think he's dead. I was under the impression that B3313 took inspiration from SM64 Classified but wasn't directly related story-wise.

Small theory for the shadow, the shadow might’ve have the ability too summon past events, that being Luigi’s memorial, he wants to taunt both Mario and the AI that they couldn’t save Luigi. Peach theory: the peach is probably either stanly trying to create peach but failing most of the time before giving up, and peach saying “Mario” is probably the shadow itself trying too trick both stanly or Mario into another part of the plexus

And damn this was a journey It's fun seeing so many places mentioned in the ice berg now that I'm so deep myself And it feel endless like I think I've seen parts of the castle completely and then there is this one turn with a new level it's amazing And I've never played anything like it

What if the shadowy figure is Luigi, and the crushing scene doesn't represent Luigi's literal death, but rather the death of his old self. Maybe Luigi went down a darker path in life, slowly becoming the shadowy figure we know today, and he lurks around just to taunt Mario. Maybe this was either caused by Stanley, or Luigi's spiritual death caused Stanley to begin to torment Mario. Anyways, great video! I am excited to see more great content!

stanley caring for luigi was shown in sm64 classified, the events where luigi drowns / gets sealed in the castle in b3313 can be presumed to not be caused by stanley (at least not intentionally)

@@TheMarioBBB yeah. i watched classified just after that comment, didn't know there was a whole analog horror series on the "every copy is personalized" creepypasta and that b3313 was based on that. stanley in b3313 acts way more aggressive than classified, he actively chases you, shows how poweful he is (eel graveyard) and mocks mario by making traps or vocally, wonder why they mad ehim like that.
