The second Colton saw Tia he lit up like a Christmas tree. Biggest smile he’s had so far this season. The way she waved at him too! This does pain me to say bc I love Colton and we saw a preview of him saying he loves Becca- but you can’t deny that there’s something there that NEEDS to be explored between Tia and Colton.

Love Jojo and Ashley! Love hearing their insights. Trisha still has not addressed her racist comments however, and I would prefer the host from last week to replace her. Seriously, she should at least issue an apology, her statements about Lincoln's accent were truly in bad taste.

In the episode 1 recap, she said that she didn't like Lincoln because of his accent, she said that his accent seemed "fake because he's been here long enough" to not have one. Lincoln's accent is a mix of Nigerian-British, which is very common for higher-income Nigerians that got to study at local international schools, he sounds a lot like friends of mine. I found it super off-putting for her to be so ignorant, judgmental and frankly racist about someone because of their accent.

Kyla M that’s not racist. Dorit from real housewives faked a British accent and everyone called her out for faking it because she’s been in America for a long time. Was it racist? No. Just because Lincoln is black doesn’t mean that making a statement about his accent is racist. If he was white, no one would bat an eye.

Except Dorit was faking it, and Lincoln's is real, Tricia was saying his REAL accent is fake for attention, like Dorit. She wouldn't be racist if Lincoln was faking it/trying to be something he's not for attention like Dorit, but he wasn't. He has a pretty common Nigerian-Britsh-schooled accent, and he grew up in Nigeria, so to say that his accent is put on for attention IS racist. These are totally different situations, because Dorit's accent was fake for attention but Lincoln's is actually just who he is and it's really in bad taste to criticize a person for their regular way of speaking.

this would not be classified as racist- she isn't attacking his nigerian-british education background nor his race as a nigerian. she's criticizing his legitimacy of on the basis of her personal interpretation of sound and length within the US. Absolutely this is discriminatory but it is not on race. Totally back you on this chick being terrible and saying dumb shit all the time but I just really think the application of that term was not correctly used here
