She accepted Joe's explanation/apology for "ghosting" her. A hesitation to make a proposal while otherwise behaving in a sincere, honest & committed way speaks volumes to me. It demonstrates recognition of the seriousness, gravity of doing so. The failure rate of all those claiming the ability to go & "get there" speaks for itself.
