Edit: I would recommend trying the challenge BUT make sure your backpack isnt too heavy... Some students have gotten hurt doing this challenge but its very rare..!

As for why this video is suddenly popular, the algorithm is completely automated and therefore the system has a tendency to boost random videos with topics that may be trendy or interesting.

It is very true, but look: you don't have to worry about them hacking you so as long as you *NEVER* press a link sent to you in dm's. Talk all you want to them, and pick at them (because if you play around with it and refuse to take the challenge as seriously as this Johnathan dude wants you to, they will tell you you're not worthy and block you), blocking them, and other stuff is fine!! But its highly suggested you do disable pm's and stuff like that, so you don't have to deal with their nonsense.
