“Ashley and Reality’s Boundary” is a series on KZbin created by Lily Chi Makes using the platform “Gacha Life 2” created by Lunime Inc. The series is based around the internet creepypasta known as “The Backrooms;” a dangerous world that exists outside of reality accessed by “no-clipping” in. The series follows the main character, Ashley, as she traverses through this maze. She discovers many new places and entities that have almost never been seen before, all while trying to escape.

“The Backrooms” is an internet legend initially created by an anonymous user on the 4chan website. Since that time, the fandom for it has further added to the concept of it with the addition of levels, like The Poolrooms/Sublimity, Piped Dreams, Level Fun, etc. There were also specific entities created such as smilers, dullers, The neighborhood watch, partygoers, death moths, partypoopers, etc. The Backrooms, no matter what version used, it considered to be an ever-expansive horror labyrinth outside of our reality.
