I want and NEED a Bad Batch prequel game in the style of Republic Commandos about all the missions they did from the moment they were created.
@robstefani98533 жыл бұрын
I personally would love a 4 player co-op looter shooter without any micro transactions and offline capabilities. One of the few gripes I have with RC is that despite all being specialists in different fields, there’s no distinction of this in the gameplay. Sure it makes sense that they’d all be capable of doing the same things at a fundamental level but if I put Sev on sniper duty, it’d be cool to see him hitting targets faster than the rest or targeting weak points on specific targets on his own. Or Fixer could slice a terminal faster and disable or utilize security turrets in the squad’s favor. Scorch could set charges faster and they’d blast a door inward to eliminate anything in it’s path. Given that each member of the Bad Batch is so different, it’d make sense to utilize this to it’s fullest extent and create some thrilling and dynamic combat. Have Wrecker move a piece of damaged equipment into place while Tech gets it working again as Crosshair snipes and Hunter moves in and out of close quarter and ranged combat.
@danzansandeev60333 жыл бұрын
@@robstefani9853 I think in dev diaries they shipped with RC game they say that it was tested, but since you can’t specify the squad mate on Xbox (and that game was primarily Xbox game) that idea was scrapped cause it was difficult to perform

So... when the show was showing Master Billaba and Caleb Dune, I was so nervous when it revealed their Order 66 scene.But after I got over the sadness of it... I went back and looked for one particular detail... and found it. Notice that Master Billaba never killed her Clone Commander. I love that detail because it contributes to how Caleb survives later. She saw Order 66 relayed to Grey and was confused at first. But he fired on her instantly before she could question what that was all about. She disarms and kicks him to the ground. Doesn't kill him. She probably wanted to question him later but before she could even think, the other clones started turning on her with the order as well. Rapid escalation leads to her being overwhelmed. I'm not sure if they animated or did that on purpose in the show but... Commander Grey would eventually follow Caleb to Lahn in the comics. He would also realize that something had taken their free will when Order 66 was given. Spoiler: * He sacrificed himself to let Caleb/Kanan Jarrus survive. His last words when the other clones asked what he was doing as he blew themselves up to give Kanan a chance to escape... "Making things right." It's still one of the most epic and tragic one liners I've seen/heard a clone declare who executed Order 66.

Hope I'm not being rude, but Caleb's last name is actually "Dume", with an "m" 😅.

Omega was likely Nala Se's personal pet project; clone of Jango Fett that was modified extremely early-on to be female. She is visually similar to Jango/Boba/The Clones in her facial structure, and has that apparently-genetic accent that all the clones have, and has a natural talent for combat situations. She was also being personally trained by Nala Se to be a medical staff member, which I think is interesting. If she could perfect the process that created Omega, she could create nigh-perfect field medics for their legions. Regular Clones with medical expertise tend to stay in the back lines, treating the wounded in a safe environment where they can't be interrupted. Medical Droids also tend to hold back since they usually lack firepower of their own. "Omegas" (for lack of a better term) could likely treat harsher wounds out on the field, and could treat even normally-fatal wounds in safe areas. The medical efficiency of a droid with the imagination and adaptability of human brains and the combat skills of a Clone Trooper. More Clone lives saved means less new Clones are needed to replace the ones that haven't died. Less new Clones needed to replace dead ones means that they don't need to produce as many Clones in general, which would mean saving a hefty amount of money they could delegate to elsewhere in the facility, like beefing up security or kickstarting more research projects. Or maybe I'm looking too far into it.

One parallel that I'm surprised I'm not seeing many people draw is the opening of this and one of the opening levels in Star Wars Battlefront 2 (The recent one.) Being a squad of clones on planet during Order 66 and being a squad of Storm Troopers on Endor during the destruction of the Death Star are both significant events that start the course of those squads. It also feels very fitting to have a story like that follow similar events at the inception and destruction of the Empire.

I was expecting they'd do a double-length episode like the first episode of Rebels, but was happy that it was almost double that, even. I love that you got your love of Star Wars from your dad. I got mine from my mom. (Dad provided the Star Trek love.) Omega's "heightened intuition", ability to almost read Crosshair's mind, use a blaster with no training, and that she reacted to Crosshair and his fire team coming to the hanger before they opened the door makes me think she's Force sensitive.

One thing I noticed in this episode is how the troopers on Kamino had no physical differences, all the same hair color, all the same haircut, during the Clone Wars the troopers all tried to be individuals. You can see the effect of Order 66. Unless these clones were new enough that they hadn't the chance, it is safe to say that individuality no longer has a place in their lives. They aren't men anymore, just meat droids in the service of the Sith. They don't even remove their helmets, the only time we see their faces was in the mess hall.
@michelmorio80263 жыл бұрын
But it is still the Clone Wars 😉 almost everything is still on the same day or just plus a couple of days after the war ended... perhaps later generations were less individualistic... or they were just rookies like we got some rookies with Domino Squad... they too had no optical differences in the beginning... and not all their own name (yet)
@Jorsk3n3 жыл бұрын
They were shinies on kamino so most likely new clones but I think it was kinda intentional on Filoni’s part. As you said, showing us that they’ve lost their individuality and so on...

I hope we get to see Imperial ships and vehicles such as the Tie line and of course the Victory Class Star Destroyer which in the EU was put into service in the middle of the Clone Wars but I'm pretty sure it isn't in canon yet or we would've saw it in The Clone Wars. Would be perfect to introduce as a symbol of the "Empires" victory in the Clone Wars a line capital ship to protect its planets focused on firepower rather than land invasions.
