Honestly, my only gripe with the commando armour we’ve seen so far in cannon is that the show runners completely ignore the shield generator.

Except they do have shield generators, if you pay close attention in season 2 when they rescue gregor they shoot scorch several times with a stun and you can see energy happening on his armor showing the shields are there. You can see this in every episode with a commando that gets shot

Tech's helmet is a BARC trooper variation. Echo's armor is actually a variation of his ARC armor. Wrecker's armor is thicker and covers more because he handles explosives.

You mentioned how crosshair’s genetic modifications make his aim and eye sight really good which is true. However, another genetic modification compared to the other members of the bad batch, save Wrecker, is the fact that crosshair is a little bit skinnier and has long legs, which I think allows him to cover ground and reposition faster when moving to different sniper positions.

Echo is still an ARC trooper after all and I loved it when he showed everyone exactly that when he fought and even had to face the commandos on Tantiss by himself when the other clones got knocked out by the gas. Bro is dedication in person, after all still fighting with one arm and a weakened body and even joining Rex to help the clones in these difficult times while sometimes joining back with the bad batch to go on some important missions together. He was fighting on two fronts and always was 100% on the job and saved the guys on Tantiss while fighting these assassins.

Excluding Echo, since I've liked him since tcw and I really love his helmet in BB, I definitely think Crosshair or Tech are my favourite BB characters. If we're going off armour though I would definitely say Tech's armour is the coolest. Lightweight and it just looks so clean on him! Great vid!

Considering the entire Plot of the Anaxes arc was that echo was feeding the seperatists strategies, it makes sense that the real enhancement of Echo was his experience.

My Favorite Member of the Bad batch is Hunter closely followed by Crosshair. Crosshair used to be at the bottom of my list but after season 3 he became my second favorite.

Hunter’s helmet is actually just a stormtrooper helmet with the eyes connected, i made this observation several years ago and when you compare the small details like vents and stuff they almost entirely line up with the stormtrooper helmet, much more so than a phase 2 clone one anyways

It’s clone troopers armor. Storm trooper armor wasn’t made until much after hunter has his armor so there’s no possibility that it’s a stormtrooper helmet

Minor nitpick, I know you say the armor is almost bulletproof, but bullets don’t really exist or are ever used in Star Wars. They can handle a blaster bolt well enough even in the vitals, but it really shouldn’t save them from physical attacks that well like say vibroblades.

I think crosshair got the tattoo sometime after, maybe even at a similar time Hunter got his. All the clones either gave themselves names or their brothers would give them names so that must’ve happened first, I don’t think it was the Kaminoans who gave them their names first even with bad batch.
