The Bald Soprano is Ionesco's first and possibly best known play. Originally produced in 1950, it has seen hundreds of interpretations and presentations. This is ours.

A brilliant performance. I had never seen a complete performance though I had actually acted in a partial one several decades ago. Antics with the fire chief were great, Mrs. Smith (the woman in the blue dress) was great and always made me laugh. I always wondered how you would pace this work. I would have made the first scene with the Martins a little faster, but now that I see it, I think the pacing here was perfect. Ending scene was great and energetic -- exactly as I'd imagined. Thanks for doing this!

I read this play as a kid with the full black and white illustrations. Even as a kid you know the whole thing is absurd and illusory. But I found all the expositions very fascinating
