im glad lamelo took control of his career early and decided to return to high school in the states witih a top notch team instead of staying in lithuania for two more years which wouldnt have had the same effect as australia and spire. had he not gone back to the states for his senior year he would have never met his trainer JJ who clearly knows what the league is looking for with the way he trained melo and gelo to get into nba shape and adjust their game to fit the NBA

Every other teamplayer hated that, cause we lithuanians are all about team chemistry, not about individuals and selfish players. They were really selfish, lamelo was just a kid who needed to learn lots of things in life and still needs to learn about respect. I think that kind of thing can work really well as a humbling experience. The NBA is a league where the individual players often seem to matter more than the teams they play for. All these 'stars' are getting coddled over in the NBA. Over here in Europe it's all about team basketball and instilling a team first mentality. You either listen to the coach and learn to play as told or you are riding the bench simple as that. Not to mention the training. Those fundamentals will be drilled into you no matter what out here.
