Love how you just serve the music without any crazy fills! Pocket level 100.

Pocket is a really good thing for drummers to learn to do, being consistant at keeping the rhythm is key to being the best, but I really do think at a drum cover people should get out of their confort zones, start destroying around the kit, and creating something new, at least if the song is not to hard to play like this one is. I'd rather seeing something very different and creative, its another must for a drummer writing new stuff, but anyway the thing was played properly I'm not saying that it wasn't, just would enjoy more applying your entire brain into creating something different, chops, grooves... He still had fun playing wich I appreciate, a drummer needs to have fun and feel what he is playing, and this guy clearly did have a blast while playing such a masterpiece.

This cover is getting to the point that I can’t listen to the original track. Your killing me with the punchy in the pocket groove. Goals man

That was awesome!!!! What would I need besides a drum kit to start my own KZbin channel for drumming??
@Helmsdrums5 жыл бұрын
You need atleast one mic to capture the sound and a camera!
@blasvanhoven78665 жыл бұрын
Where do I put the mic??
@Samford4044 жыл бұрын
@@blasvanhoven7866 Blas you should go for an Electronic drum kit, it's easier in my opinion, you'll have zero issues with tuning the sound, with drum components filtering on other mics... I play a Roland TD 25KV and these drums are more confortable to record than any of the acoustic drums I've ever played, and you can have every kit on the earth you want if you just have the samples of the kit on the drum brain or a drumming program like Superior Drummer.

First off, good drumming, and second.(This is only a recommendation of course, but a serious recommendation at that)I saw that you where playing barefoot and that made me react a bit because(I can only say what my very good and old physiotherapist said to me)my physiotherapist plays the drums(a bit)and he said that if you don't play with shoes or anything footwear at all,(and this has happened to his feet to some extent)you will destroy your sense of touch in your foot/feet(E.T.C)somewhat over time. Because you are basically smashing your feet straight into a hard object for 3+ minutes. Love your videos, and I'm making this comment so you don't possible get injured, at least give it a thought would ya. Thanks! :)
