I just discovered Waterparks last week (loved them from their first song!) when they opened for blackbear and I saw this! I love the info and the editing is really well-done video, thanks for the reminder to check out Waterparks! I love your content!

You didn’t mention how they chose the name Waterparks and it’s honestly funny and it’s worth mentioning. For the people who don’t know, basically they wanted something different. Most bands had a “(verb) the (noun)” type of name. (Escape _the_ Fate, Pierce _the_ Veil, and Crown _the_ Empire are the first that come to mind. Although most other bands would have the verb-noun format, like Sleeping _with_ Sirens or Motionless _in_ White) Because of this they almost named themselves Golf, because they all hated golf. They picked Waterparks for that same reason, they hate Waterparks. I don’t remember what interview this was though.

Just here to say that 1 is secretly lowkey one of my favourite Waterparks albums and that scrapped albums from bands take up WAYYY too much of my headspace.
