In this video I talk about The Band Tool and how I believe they are a part of the system of the world. Some might say they're just rock songs, but music is a powerful force that can drive a person to do many things in life, both consciously and subconsciously. There is an occult aspect to the band yes, but it’s not that deep. The members of Tool are not wizards, nor have they tapped into something the rest of us don’t know about. Don’t take Tool too seriously. The band certainly doesn’t take themselves seriously at all. They are comedians par excellence. They have spent thirty years of their career laughing, trolling and taking the piss out of fans for thinking Tool is more than it is, which is fantastic music, incredible art work and spectacular live shows.

When you make songs about being raped, songs about personal hatred towards Jesus Christ, or about your mother’s passing away, I’d say those are pretty serious topics. One thing I agree with you is that Tool is unaware of how deep the spiritual side of what they have created is. But when Danny Carey comes out saying that he has had to contain a demon in the lodge, I would say that’s pretty serious and perhaps even very intentional. That sounds borderline wizardry, but for certain playing around with the demonic realm. If you look closely a lot of Maynard’s lyrics sound pretty thoughtful and thought out. Sure the band has been very playful with its audience throughout the years, but from scrutinizing everything about tool, that still cannot take away that the band’s music does have a representation of the occult.

You would also say the same if you were born into a certain religious belief or if said religion was the popular one in your surroundings. So why are you so confident that yours is the one true one, are all the people who happened to commit the crime of being born in the wrong place at the wrong time damned to hell? You're not dead yet so you don't know what happens after and neither does anyone else and never will until it's their time. One of the many ironic aspects of the band is in the name itself. MJK has even been heard mocking his fans. Your points are valid and yet I find the need to defend the band as well. There are plenty of examples of correlation between the lyrics and the Bible (mockery of) and the correlation in MJKs side projects, especially the Blood into Wine documentary. Are the examples merely mockery? Or are there fingers being pointed at the Truth through the correlation of the members. I'm torn because I'm a fan but I am also able to admit that I know absolutely nothing! Thus emphasis on the importance of believing in the blood sacrifice of Christ and not a lyrically skilled snake. If you analyze their music it’s all about finding yourself. Mjk has even said their music is a tool to find your self. “To open your third eye”. The anemia, third eye, reflection, lateralus. Even their music videos. I have no problem with religion but don’t just say free masonry or Crown Lee. Or anything unknown to western religion is evil or part of the “system”. This is why they are so unwilling to discuss what the meaning of the songs are. It’s up to the listener to make an interpretation and they want to keep it that way. Can you explain more. I just saw them for the first time tonight in Nashville. Was a last min thing, don’t know anything about the band other than their commercial success in the late 90’s. I went as a fan of Danny’s drumming. I saw a lot of interesting symbolism not going to lie. Didn’t get a feel of a ritual. Same here. Me and my sister were fucked so weirded out. I’ve seen them a few times but this time I saw it… and felt it. It was hypnotic and I felt the music take me somewhere. I have had that thought in the past just because when something or someone is fawned over as IT, that it might not be true but rather something the opposite of what most people see. I don't agree here though. When you listen to the lyrics and themes they are not "surface" or "mindless" music that dumbs you down like the PTB try to inflict on everyone. Why would they want people to think of deeper things than just rock, drugs, partying, chicks, etc that most music is? Of course it opens your mind, it did for me. Tool is a very spiritual band, just not on the right side of spiritual things. Tool deliberately mocks Jesus Christ in some of their music and did so in some of their performances during the undertow tour. But I have concluded that it’s the desires of my flesh so to speak. I treat too like I treat pornography, it might appeal to the flesh momentarily but the ultimate outcome is not good. It is death. Yeah, I totally agree with what you're saying in this video brother, and I've had almost the same experience that you've had. When I discovered TOOL I never heard anything like it, I found myself living by the songs and basically treating their songs as my religion. I never did psychedelics but I used to smoke a lot of pot and listen to them to get spiritual revelations on what the songs are trying to convey. Long story short I really got into the new-age spirituality that they talk about in their music and I was very anti-Jesus because of their music. From trying to live by the songs and trying to be God myself I REALLY felt the struggle of trying to be your own god and creating your own reality, it made my trauma and healing process even slower and even harder and I didn't know what to do, I started to go down rabbit holes on what occultism really is and from that I realized that It's basically all rooted in satanism and from that I found Jesus Christ and realized that he is our true LORD and saviour. As of right now I still listen to TOOL as they are my favorite band but It is different now because I don't resonate with or listen to the songs that perpetuate that new age spiritual dogma or the songs that mock our lord and saviour, and I still listen to them purely because of how amazing they play their songs and how complex and deep they are as I'm a very deep and critical person. I do plan on cutting out music entirely in the near future as my journey with Christ deepens every single day. This is a very good and necessary video as I believe more people should realize that TOOL's message and new age spirituality is not their saviour. Wow! I’ve been searching for this information as confirmation for a while now . Listening to you I was thinking “this is totally me!” I was a die hard fan of TOOL for decades! I listened to them every single day for hours on end. I even took days off work and immersed myself in their music. I found it profoundly therapeutic. I always said TOOL was my drug of choice 🤦🏻‍♀️ I resonated with every song & the length of their songs gave is what I loved most! I clearly remember when c-1 9 happened and the pandemonium that took place. I immediately thought about “Fear Inoculum” and found it bizarre that it was released not long before c-1 9 started. I read the lyrics and laughed thinking these guys knew about this pandemic long before we all did! Then I read somewhere that MJK had built a bunker at his vineyard…I couldn’t understand why, (btw his wines called Caduceus- meaning 2 serpents entwined on a staff with wings) Anyway, I was deep into the new age and loved how “spiritual” they were. But in 2020, Jesus kept calling me. I’d see Jesus everywhere! He kept showing me information about the occult. I started looking into satanism and the roots of the occult. Then 18months ago I was saved and renounced everything new age, including TOOL. I learned all about Danny and his family’s background (check out his website 😳) I worshipped the man. Such a gentle giant and so insanely talented! Like the rest of the band. My eyes opened up to the artwork by Alex Gray … all those eyes! And demonic looking creatures I once thought were so cool. People need to be aware that they’re music is hypnotic & puts ppl in a trance, hence the length of their songs. I know coz I used to be a hypnotist. Our minds are in a vulnerable state under trance and you’re not fully aware of what you’re unconscious mind is being subjected to. I gave all that up when I was saved too. Sorry for the lengthy comment, I just felt compelled to share & to perhaps warn others that the enemy is real & will do anything to keep you away from Jesus our Saviour. Yes I will explain the imagery. The images me holding an instrument, pulling out the so-called third eye out of this woman. It represents deliverance so to speak. The third eye is a part of the occult and demonic, often times representing the kundalini spirit. In this image there are also two angels also protecting me as I minister to her. I am pulling out her third eye from her so that she can see clearly with her two eyes instead. The third eye is that I’m pulling out from her simply represents the occult and the demonic.
