Since the beginning of the year, investors have been nervous as the bank system faces collapse. After March, the U.S. banking system will take a dark turn, and rates will go up. If rates go high, small banks that are holding all of these commercial real estate loans are on the brink of collapse. However, the failure has started with the New York Community Bancorp; it has crashed 45% to fresh 30-year lows.

Bank failures are likely to continue increasing due to rising interest rates, as it causes their commercial paper and treasuries to become devalued. To prevent a severe economic downturn, it is necessary to implement a freeze on interest rates. Simultaneously, the White House should support the industry in boosting gas and oil production to lower fuel prices. The anti-oil stance only contributes to higher energy costs, leading to inflation throughout the economy. By reducing interest rates, tightening the money supply, cutting government expenditures, and increasing the availability of affordable fuel, inflation will decrease, and the economy will thrive. Unfortunately, various conflicting agendas make it unlikely for all these measures to be implemented, resulting in a recession and persistent inflation.

In light of the ongoing global economic crisis, it is crucial for everyone to prioritize investing in diverse sources of income that are not reliant on the government. This includes exploring opportunities in stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the challenging economic situation, it remains a favorable time to consider these investments.

The pathway to substantial returns doesn't solely rely on stocks with significant movements. Instead, it revolves around effectively managing risk relative to reward. By appropriately sizing your positions and capitalizing on your advantage repeatedly, you can progressively work towards achieving your financial goals. This principle applies across various investment approaches, whether it be long-term investing or day trading.

It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.

I still blame the FEDs for this, because in the end they benefit by either buying off the failed banks cheaper or something. The fed can print credit as long as someone will borrow it into existence, but they cannot print product (or production).

You're right! Now that the market is in decline, I know what I want to do, but I'm not sure which stocks to buy, which investments would yield the best profits, etc. The potential gain is greater due to the risk, and professionals are better at negotiating such exact contracts. Right?

Sadly, banks continue to stumble, mortgage rates is on the rise with higher imports and lower exports, yet the FED is to lessen cost. So, where do we grow and safeguard our money now? something will eventually break if they keep raising interests and quantitative tightening.

Well agreed, I'm quite lucky exposed to finance at early age, started job at 19, purchased first home at 28, got married shortly afterwards to raise kids early. Going forward, got laid-off at 40 amid covid '19 outbreak, immediately consulted with an advisor in order to stay afloat and after subsequent investments, I'm barely 25% short of $1m ballpark goal as of today.

The ongoing banking crisis is far from reaching a resolution. Those with more than a decade of experience understand that credit crises do not dissipate within a mere two weeks. It's amusing to witness some people believing that everything has already concluded so swiftly. We are currently witnessing a credit contraction that will inevitably result in a substantial overall contraction.

Blind allegiance to a document that keeps tyrannts from removing our Liberties. Our Founding Fathers would never allow a digital currency. Because it gives too much power and control to a very few. Talking about the banking crisis. I believe it. I am reading about reported layoffs by major businesses every month. The cost of food is increasing each month. We are already in a Recession.
@American-Motors-Corporation
@American-Motors-Corporation 3 ай бұрын
Well the truth of it is simply for at least the past 18 years we've been in a perpetual recession basically depression of course last decade or say even as far back as 13 years ago that was in the era in time where we would get these job reports every day every week every month every year the government as well as corporations wanted to make damn sure that you believed the concept that there is still job creation going on. And how they were able to pull off this track was a big incentive and it was called to work opportunity tax credit it's still exists to this day and employers still pursue it. So basically remember last decade when a lot of dick waggers would talk about how they drive around and see all these help wanted signs yet they see all these lazy unemployed people in fact there's still idiots that rattle that off to this day. Little do these morons realize that the reason why this help wanted signs never came down was because the government paid for them to be up in the first place it was called to work opportunity how it works is you go to higher basically a large group of people or even just an individual the bottom line is if this individual has been down fraud in some of the most common ways whether or not they have a food stamp card but they've been unemployed for at least some say 26 weeks but really about 3 months if you've had any gap of employment technically you would qualify for the credit that of course is dead and turn give to your employer if you have the Medicaid card if you are eligible for any government assistance right off the bat they're going to get a fucking tax credit based on your sheer existence and the fact that you are economically screwed. So then basically what they do is if they work you for $120 hours which is the minimum they get a 25% tax credit if they work you for $400 hours they get a 40% tax credit the problem is simply most employers do not pursue any more than 25% simply because there is no limit on how many people they can hire and fire in a given day week month or year so if an employer wanted to they can hire 300 people all at once to get as many tax credits as they want they can basically make up a job which all I've seen that live and at the end of the day once they collect their tax credits they hire in another group of people while they get rid of the first group of people this is why everywhere has had a fucking revolving door for pretty much 15 years. The problem is each employer in any given Town basically shoves these people around so you could take a job at Lowe's and then once you approach your 120 hours they start riding your ass really hard they might even somewhat make it your idea to quit there is a situation where if anything you might be good for another 3 weeks conveniently to reach the 120 hours depending upon how to say close you are to the 120 hours and then they're going to come up with a reason to get rid of you and it could be you made a mistake 3 months ago but they're going to hang then you're going to go across the street across town you're going to go to another one of these employers and the process starts all over again the problem is you in about 3,000 other people are constantly being shuffled around here basically pinballs in the street going from employer to employer the problem is eventually you run out of employers to go to because once they dismiss you they stamp you unrehireable. So then the businesses will start bitching pissing and while they can't get anybody well they've managed to through your favorite political pundits and politicians as well as just idiots they have managed to convey the false reality and message that it's all these would be workers is fault that they're all about lazy shit heads I don't want to drop when in reality they were used up and there's basically nowhere left for them to go. So basically what has happened is that the government has done nothing more than guarantee that every job is basically a fucking temporary job to add insult to injury temporary employment services otherwise known as temp service can also collect the work opportunity tax credit there isn't an employer anywhere that cannot collect this. I will say that last year I embarked on a minor adventure to get out of retail I was in retail management and I happen to say well why not go to a temp service and see if I couldn't get you know some sort of office job. Well I talked to a couple of them they claim that they had all this shit whatever I go in there I feel it all the stuff I keep calling in and everything there's really nothing going on course I ultimately ended up taking another job anyway but I was willing to bail on that gig providing I could have got an office job through these people I must have went to about three different agencies and I can say not a fucking one of them have any jobs really they're all going around to would be a Polaris begging for jobs even labor positions but they do not really have very much available and the most that they do have is for some of the most shittiest of factories or Warehouse that's about all they really have they don't have very much in the professional realm they don't have very much available in other assorted labor style gigs and like I said what little bit of factory work they do have it certainly not a lot which could explain why some of these agencies have actually folded up locations they're not able to make any money of course part of this is due to shit like the work opportunity tax credit the fact that I live in a state which is Ohio that is an at-will employee situation meaning they do not need a reason to fire you oh and they can straight up lie to you at the start of the job and tell you that it's a full-time position but in reality you may only get 16 hours and then all the sudden it becomes your idea to quit. It's basically a fucking rip-off.

Here in the UK, I have 2 sons, 3 grandchildren, and it IS a nightmare, keeping me awake many a night. Late 70's, I have lived through the best of times, but worry for them. I've stacked PM's and prepped food - wise, but is it enough I ask myself? I can only place my trust in my Maker.

I completely agree. I have been consistent with my profit regardless of the market conditions. I got into the market early in 2019 and the constant downtrends and losses discouraged me, so I sold off. I got back in December 2020 and this time with guidance from an investment adviser who was recommended by a colleague

You'd think that when a country like China could potentially cripple the US economy, then you'd kind of assume the USA would make sure they have a good relationship with them and work closely together in order to negate that possibility. Yet all we see is the US militarising the Asian region and surrounding China with military bases.

That is not what caused the crash. The crash was caused by the banks, as they got into huge investments that weren't profitable and did it with people's money. The losses came to the extent that the banks' assets couldn't cover the losses and then they ran out of liquidity so then people started to withdraw their money which triggered the intervention of other banks and federal reserve. This will continue to happen in 2024 but with greater amounts of money in play.

Maybe the larger banks invested in the so called tech banks, If so then the larger banks are carrying debts. I am worried that my larger bank is carrying the debt that i have to pay off. I never asked my bank to invest in these tech banks. But as usual they go their own way. Just like 2008. Their greed Knows no bounds.

@@rightsdontcomewithpermits7073 It isn't doom and gloom to me. If you know what is happening around the world by seeing that all countries are heading to a gold backed or asset backed currency. The banks need to go down and so does the US dollar, first. Which is happening. Then ALL will be on a "level playing field" as Trump said a few years back. It's coming and it's great! If you look, you can see it.

Banking crises are caused by central banks. "Small" banks have served their purpose. The paper money era is over. You don't need a small bank when all financial transactions will be done on your cell phone. At the same time, all human jobs are going to be automated as fast as employers can do it. Your "job" will be, first, a welfare recipient and then, when you are older, a pensioner.

I'm a minute into this video so to address exactly what really did cause the crash of these bags truth is simply it wasn't everybody running down the actual true cause a diverse span of years and that was simply the low interest rates that they had lent out. And then there's interest rates went up so bankex granted whoever alone for x amount say 8 years ago well they were still running the free cheap money shit it virtually 1% interest 2% maximum then all the sudden of course that loan is still on the books because it's not paid off well now the bank to borrow money particularly to make payments to the bigger Bank that they got the money from to lend now they're interest rate went up say 4% right so they're underwater on every loan they made during the cheap interest rate era. It's like for instance you buy a house or car with a variable rate well when you first bought it it was awesome and nice but somewhere into this thing your interest rate skyrockets now you have to pay even more money for months just to maintain basically that's what happened to the banks it is still an ongoing problem you know they spent the better half of a decade or more writing loans at very cheap interest rates but then their cost via interest rate goes up all the sudden they're under water on every single one of those left that is actually the true device of the majority of these companies see a lot of people don't seem to either know that or it's something that is very overlooked but the money that they lent out yesterday and yesterday is underwritten by whatever interest was agreed upon at the time of that loan being granted the problem is if the bank at some point experiences where they have to pay a higher interest rate on not just that money that they have lent out but for future loans then guess what they are screwed.
