I got born again as a child at age 8 or so. I did not receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit until I was 16. The Holy Spirit has given me much revelation since! Especially during the first couple years after the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

We want to encourage you that God wants to help all of His children receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. All we have to do is ask (Luke 11:11-13)! Being baptized with the Spirit allows us to walk in His freedom and His power. When we simply ask for the Holy Spirit, we receive! God does not withhold good gifts from us. We can ask in confidence! Speaking in tongues is part of the amazing power that the Holy Spirit gives us. Speaking in tongues edifies us (1 Cor 14:4), refreshes us (Isa 28:11-12), and keeps us aware of the love of God (Jude 20-21). We encourage you to simply ask your Father for the gift of His Holy Spirit right now and release the gift of speaking in tongues! The manifestation of tongues sounds different for everyone, but one thing is always the same: the person must start speaking in order to activate the gift. God is not going to force anyone to do anything, including speaking in tongues. The sounds that you begin to make may sound like foolishness to your mind, (1 Cor. 14:2, 14-15), but that is because it is your spirit praying, not your mind! Your spirit is praying a perfect prayer! We encourage you to press through any thoughts of foolishness by faith and allow your spirit to speak through your vocal cords. Hi Roselio, thanks for asking. This heavenly prayer language exists in every believer who has asked to be filled with the Holy Spirit. It's just a matter of releasing it. God does not take over our mind or mouth, we activate the sound and the Spirit gives the inspiration. Thank you for asking us, Christina! Although water baptism is an important act of faith, we are saved through receiving God's free gift (Ephesians 2:8). Notice that in Mark 16:16 Jesus did not say that he who is not baptized will be damned. There are many Scriptures that indicate that we are saved by faith (Romans 5:1, Romans 3:28, Galatians 2:16). Andrew was teaching that only a mature christian can renounce their salvation or lose their salvation and was referring to Hebrews 6. It was under Ananias and Sapphira and Grace on his youtube channel. This has made me reluctant to pursue the baptism of the Holy Spirit as I don't want to lose my salvation. Thank you for asking us your question, Bernie! Andrew does not teach that we can sin away our salvation. However, he believes that one can reject it.​ He teaches that in Heb. 6:4, Paul is addressing mature Christians ("who had tasted of Heavenly powers to come" referring to the mature use of the gifts of the Holy Spirit) who had rejected their salvation and hence, it is impossible to renew them again once they had rejected their salvation. Andrew's emphasis is that this sin of the rejection of Christ can only be done by someone who is mature enough to know what they are doing. We can see that Paul is definitely not talking about a Christian merely getting Spirit filled (i.e. talking in tongues and including other gifts of the Holy Spirit) and then simply sinning! Andrew teaches that this is specifically talking about the willful, knowing, and informed decision to reject Jesus. He does not believe this is a sin which can be done by a baby Christian but can only be sinned by a mature Christian to reject Christ while realizing the consequences of what they are doing. However, Andrew is very quick to point out that he has never known a Christian who has ever done this. His emphasis is that this is not the loss of salvation as result of sinning it away somehow through every day sins, but concerns the intentional rejection of salvation as a result of choosing to reject Christ. Why do you have to speak in Tongues as proof you’ve been baptized in the Holy Spirit? I’m serious. 1 Corinthians 12:12-13 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body-whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free-and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 12:11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. Just because you don’t speak in tongues doesn’t mean you haven’t been baptized in the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:4-8 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: .. ..” For if not to speak in tongues but you better have an interpreter otherwise Paul says to be silent.
