The movie made a record breaking 155 million dollars over the opening weekend here in the US. The pop-up Barbie Cafes are doing a fabulous business everywhere and the doll and toy collections are selling like hotcakes. I did get this car and I love it! I was actually quite surprised on how big it was when I opened it up! This car has to be one of my most prized Barbie items. I had been trying to get the Blue Chev but have had no luck...until this beauty was made available - so I am happy!

I adore this car, this 4 seater version specifically. So iconic. My sister, who collects other toys and doesn't like dolls, somehow saw this movie before me and she enjoyed it. I'm waiting until the theatre crowds get smaller, but I'm looking forward to seeing the movie in a couple more weeks.

The car is beautiful!❤️ I wasn't impressed with the dolls, but i love the car!! I think this one is way better than the smaller rc one. Not only is it bigger and more proportional to barbies size, but it fits more dolls.

This car.. I've had it for a month now and haven't completely unboxed it. I slide it out, marvel at its gorgeousness and then put it back in. The box itself IS incredible! I'm in the middle of packing to move so that's part of the reason. But it is one of my favorite things. Its the only Barbie vehicle I've gotten that's been brand new!

Fun review, however, when you turned the steering wheel you didn't notice that the tires rotate in the same direction of the turn. The detail is awesome! I purchased both cars and love them. The remote control car is cute too and fun to drive in the driveway.

@@Barbination the videos I’ve seen show the transformation of older Barbie cars into real speed racers. Doing donuts and burning out and all of that. The process involves soldering which I am no good at. Alas. 😂

I got this car about a week ago, and I love it. This was the only car from the movie that I wanted, but now I want a second one to customize. I have two of the 80s '57 Chevy cars, and I customized one in a nice bright yellow, which I think really suits it. I'd love to see this car in a coral color, or even a mint green. I'd also like to give it real metallic chrome accents, like the '57 Chevy has.

It's important for those in the market for the Barbie pink corvette to know that they're are two different types. The one you've unboxed is a 4 seater like the movie. The other is the Hot Wheels remote control two seater so Ken would have to hide in the trunk! 😂 Parents who want to get their children a Barbie Pink Corvette have a choice, and that's pretty cool! The four seater is really big! So the two seater are better if toy space is limited. I'm an adult collector, new to your channel. Thanks for showing us the goods unboxed! 🩷 Liked and Subscribed 🩷💃

I am so happy that the Barbie Movie is a big box office succes!!! Even before the movie came out, I know that I would love it since I am pretty bias because it’s an official Barbie movie. But when it came out and I watched it... it was so much more that what I could have hope for. I was relieved that the movie has a very high production value... the visuals, the story... loooove it!!! The only fear that I had prior to the movie that it would be like the Jem And the holograms movie which was a bit pf a let down for me. Fortunately, It wasn’t. I’ve watched it more than once and still I am enjoying every minute of it!!! Props to everyone who’s behind the the movie!!!💗🤗🙏🏻🤗🙏🏻💗

This version of the pink 1956 Chevrolet Corvette C1 in the movie is smaller than the real car to make the actors more bigger like life size Barbie dolls. The movie pink corvette has back seats and it's remote control too.

I think its so great that we got a 1959 chevy corvette! barbie drove so many corvettes in her time but its so nice to have one from her debut year! too bad they couldn't give us her first car: the Austin Healey ! Ken's Hotrod would have been a nice easter egg to see too.

Congrats on getting the Barbie Corvette! So beautiful. Other than Barbie, my other love is model cars! Unfortunately, I just don't have the room for Barbie cars. Over the years, Barbie had several wonderful cars in addition to the Chevy Bel Air. The Austin Healy was the first but have you also seen the Porsche Boxster and the Ferrari? My dream Barbie car is actually not made by Mattel. It is a 1/6 scale Mercedes 540 K made for 1/6 scale WWII action figures. Some collectors have bought it for their Barbies instead. It is an amazing car.

Mattel makes hot wheels so i expect them to kill it on Barbie cars but the current ones havent been a big hit for me, anyways this car and the blue one, the big van that looks like the scooby doo van , sharpay evans pink car, and the Harley Davidson motorcycle are cars that i want but i dont have a big room for them lol

Not to be too picky but the car is fashioned after the Corvette.… AND I saw the movie yesterday. Buckle your seatbelt because it is an iconic ride with surprising layers of intelligent writing and subtle ( plus not so subtle) messages. Brilliant coloration, great choreography, OH and FUN FUN FUN!!!🩷💖🩷💖🌸🌸💖🩷💖🩷
