One of a special few songs that can bring me to tears. Heard it on The Console radio programme during Covid I think. Just stunning. Makes me love my country even more every time I hear it. People are stunned when I tell them it's from a game. Up there with Grammy nominated Journey soundtrack for me. Bravo.

Three years on, and still every time I listen to this song it feels like the very first time. It just grips you and doesn't let go. Both Eilidh and Brian did an amazing job. Wonderful song on it's own, but their performance elevates it even more. Rarely do you have the oppertunity to see actual magic being created. This is absolutely one of them. If we ever were to send out a Golden Record again, this recording should be on it.

Where would I find the battle music that I think is entitled "Gun An Gobhar" and is sung by Kim Carnie? I've seen a clip on the BBC website of her singing it, but the instruments and arrangement of the in-game soundtrack is even better, but I can't find it on Amazon, itunes, etc.

The combat tracks featuring Kim are on Spotify here open.spotify.com/artist/0QucvFqzb1bwlDVzE0NF8c?si=IeGmfHx-SrSWhsXfAVd_Qw Because the tracks work interactively in the game, there were no real stereo mixes done so the combat music on Spotify is really all there is.. my heritage is 100% celtic mainly scottish with more recent irish ancestry too. My mother is from scotland and that makes me proud to be second gen scottish and second gen irish thru my father but he is ultimately scottish at the end of the day. I gave my heart To no other man under the sun And after you I never will Until I myself am laid in the earth Your elegant, shapely form That I loved above any other There is no flaw to be found in you Not from the top of your head to the soles of your feet Many a pure, young girl will approach you With welcoming looks as you pass Though I by a cruel fate Gave you the greatest love of all
