It was a great storyline but sadly too realistic! Addiction is a very difficult thing to come back from

Holly’s mum was no way supportive when she was going through those drugs if she had been there for her more than maybe she wouldn’t of died perhaps

not only that John and James would help Holly but Cain would just spit at her and it lowered her self esteem.

Did Holly used to inject? I've only been watching Emmerdale for two years, so I've just really seen her in the last few months. What using she has done recently has all by smoking, so I wondered if it was always such. Cheers.

I dont know think so, I mean she's done Heroin before but in powder form or something. I don't think she's ever injected, but if she has it hasn't been made visible on Emmerdale.

rijfjfgh Thank you for the answer. That makes sense. I suppose it would be a bit hardcore to shown in a 7pm programme if she did. Thanks again!

The implication is that she heated it up on the foil and then inhaled the fumes and that's how she got high. I don't believe you ever see her injecting - the only time I think she did inject was when she overdosed in the cemetery and Pete and Ross found her, you can briefly see a needle beside her before she passes out

@@marigoldbells9581 Interesting. Thanks for the info. I accidentally stopped watching Emmerdale a couple of winters ago, and never had time to catch up. So never felt comfortable to rejoin and miss a load of details. But it's nice to be reminded of my love affair with The Dales like this. :)
