I feel that the community is a part of the issue here. People constantly overhype the upcoming updates to the game, so much so that the new updates don’t make up for those unrealistic expectations put on the developers of the game. Btw this is a good video majora :) Edit: I never said that I disliked the update. I actually really like the basement and what it offers! I was just pointing out that overhyping updates could become a bad thing. That’s all.

Thanks! You're 100% on this. I don't really know if update hype will ever go away as it's easy content to make and gets a lot of views. I do feel bad for the developers though and while I personally liked the update I do think that it sets a really weird precedent for the future of the game.

I’m not arguing or anything, just saying smthn. One of my best memories in the game I made with two other guys where two of us were tiny and we just ran around while the other chased us. It was so simple but incredibly fun. I think this is the thing that makes gtag my favorite VR game, you can connect with anyone through a digital form. All we were doing was running around and hiding, but it was more fun than any other fancy action packed game I’ve played. (Raggy and datio)

I like the update, and yes I do agree on the cosmetics. They are just way to expensive. I feel like the next update might be better and fresher than this one. Also did you notice this in the update too? The fan in the mountains is spinning the wrong way, tbh it felt so weird to look at.

Honestly, It is the community because... due to the facto fo the basement update some people have been very mean lately for example i was in a lobby yesterday and their were tons of more 13-15 year old people being very toxic including bad words bullying and also not willing to help with the tiny secret too. So really the problem here not all the community because there can be very nice and caring people like me helping people everytime now with the tiny secret so i just hope in the next couple of months that this turns around and heads for a better future for gorilla tag and new players. I’m scared for secret tunnel to open since it most likely won’t live up to people expectations. But if it does that means that it will be the greatest gorilla tag update for a solid year. And the reason I say I’m scared for it not to live up to the hype is because people will get mad at the devs even though gorilla tag is still a relatively small game.

If the secret tunnel update is ANYTHING like this one. It will be a bigger letdown then Jupiter. Maybe the sun, something being teased for the entirety of a games lifespan and being small would be sad. And probably most players would leave. Since the sand and stuff is there. I pray that it's a beach map.
