They got the "let's go, Brandon" origin wrong. After a conservative Nascar driver named Brandon won a race, the crowd was chanting "F JOE BIDEN" while the driver was being interviewed live. For PR reasons, the interviewer said, "Listen to the crowd they're chanting.... Let's go Brandon" when they were clearly not. Then online memes made it bigger.

The actual story of "let's go Brandon" is even funnier than was told on the pod. There was a NASCAR race, and the guy who won's name was Brandon. During the post-race interview, you could hear the crowd chanting in the background. The interviewer, thinking they were cheering for him, pauses and has the cameraman pan over to the crowd. They must have turned the boom mics toward the crowd, because it was at that point that "f*** Joe Biden" was clearly what was being chanted. Then the interviewer, knowing she messed up, tried to cover it up by saying "yeah, let's go Brandon!" It was a good effort, but we all heard what the crowd was saying. That was the origin of Let's Go Brandon. You can find the video of the interview on YT. It's hilarious.
