The Basics of Dodging and Burning in Photo RAW

I am totally at sea after watching this. I'm struggling with the interface. Your commentaries do not move logically step by step, or to me they don't. I feel the need of a book that would take me through the steps, but there doesn't seem to be one. I am gradually learning more about ON1, but it feels like learning a new language. There are many, many options. But I'm not able to see a logical flow to this. As I said in another comment, I don't need discussions about editing. I need to understand how this app is laid out and how I can work with it.
