There are actually more "elements" leading to this result. His embouchure and cultivated sound ( restricted vibrato) are EXCELLENT!

I enjoyed your playing and ideas. I have designed a profiler with which you can adjust not only collar to tip profile but center to side profile in infinite combinations. As far as I know the elliptical profiler as I call it is the only way to accomplish this except with expensive double barrel profilers. Then a new cam might be made at great cost to change proportions.. With my system I cut the tip, use a tip profiler and very frequently have a salable reed. However if the cane is hard some scraping. If soft some throat rounding to strengthen the reed. I rarely touch the reed much beyond the tip. My design saves time doing what you would spend a lot of time doing and maybe make a mistake doing. It adds consistency to the blade to the collar.
