My Father, John Schlager, worked for Western Costume Co., During the time that Vincent Price was making movies. Mr. Price was a personal friend of my Father. He told my father's boss, Jimmy Salduti, that he only wanted my Father to fit him for his various movies. Mr. Price invited my Father, Mother, and myself to his house for dinner, but my Father declined, because he was not a sociable type person. Mr. Price said he understood. They still continued as friends and business associates. I was only about ten years old at the time. I was disappointed, because I was hoping to tell my classmates, about the invitation.

VERY good 1080p picture quality. It is amazing how some movies are this 1080p quality while most have a blurry picture but still in 720p. It seems to me that some companies re-process movies from the original film with Blu-Ray release in mind and that is how we get so great a picture. I will just have to watch this one, most movies I do not. With Amazon Prime and Netflix available it is a waste of time to strain your eyes watching a blurry picture. Thanks CCC!

I love these older films - new ones always rely on gore and jumpscares, they don't give you that subtle creeping kind of thrill like these did, and the actors were SO much better! Vincent Price in particular was one of a kind, we lost a great treasure with him. I do wonder why he put the bat in their room towards the beginning, when Lizzie was bitten - All he did was wake them up and make them more alert and bring someone else into the house that might've found him out, he really gained nothing by doing that.
