@@islammehmeov2334What about the other people? That presumes that the Christian conception of Yahweh and the Jewish conception of Yahweh are the same being. That being said, the Bible directly quotes Yahweh as saying He chose the Jewish people as His own. Deuteronomy 7:6 reads, " For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth." Psalm 135:4 reads, "For the Lord hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure." Now, granted, this does not mean that the Jews believe that Yahweh only wants a relationship with them. Let's not forget that the temple had a Court of the Gentiles that was meant for the worship offered by gentile visitors to the temple. It's just that Yahweh specifically chose the Jews to be an example to the rest of the world (according to Jews).
