The Battle Cats - Primitive Souls

Not a fan of this stage, however my usual cat levels are honestly pretty weak for this stage, so I leveled up Pizza Cat and Fishman for it, sorry about this, but then again this is UL so higher levels make sense. Also going to be using one of the new Grandon Units here, as he makes the Snaches much more tolerable.
Strat for this level is basically rush down Umaru before they stack up, while dealing with the peons pretty fast so you have more time to chip the Umarus.
Anyways, the strat itself is rushing the initial Mooths with some Fishman and A. Bahamut timings, then with other rush units try to rushdown the first Umaru and get as much damage as you can. However, there are other enemies in the way so I bring along units such as Power Cutter and Bombercat to make dealing with the first peons not too bad. Honestly my initial rush in this run wasn't too good, but still did enough chip damage to the first Umaru to get a victory.
Once the peons start coming back, I honestly don't like meatshields on this stage, so I completely ditch them and just resort to mainly using Pizza, Slapsticks, Fishman, and Power Cutter for the peon cycles. Bombercat sorta helps for these phases, but can also freeze the Dark Otters too far back. If using Power Cutter try to time him so he doesn't instantly run in and get cursed.
Once peon cycles are down, it's back to rushing again. I mainly used Manic Jamiera, Fishman, Relic-Bun, A. Bahamut, and Maglev for chipping Umaru. Relic-Bun and A. Bahamut being very important for chipping, so try to have them at full health when you're rushing. Also side note that I bring Health up small, as it gives my Bahamut just enough health to take an extra Umaru hit.
It's basically rinse and repeat once you know how the cycles work, what really matters is how well you rush the initial Umaru, and how fast you can kill peon cycles.
One last thing to note, is that if I get pushed back to the base with Dark Otters still alive, I can use Bombercat to prevent them from destroying my base as fast. Same goes for spawning Pizza Cat if you're pinned to the base, in that it helps kill them faster.
Also this subchapter is extremely easy except for this stage and the Winged Pigge stage (which isn't too hard once you know what to do), so probably going to skip out on uploading the other stuff.

It is surprisingly easy to pull off with... *ahem...* mecha bun and a double research combo. You just use some tanky units, and you might pull it off.

I got the cat after wasting about 10 treasure radars, it was on my 5th clear of the stage, yep I cleared it almost every try without treasure radars but not with them

mmm yes, but that's why i don't meatshield, better chances for a non-cursed pizza cat to land a hit off on the Dark Otters, and any of those hits landing helps immensely, even then her stats all-around are pretty decent for doing damage even if cursed.

First tried this with Bad Saki. Very decent dps and recharge is quicker than mecha but wiped out quick then unaffordable. Ultimate Catman takes 3x longer to respawn. Used this strat, and killed the level first time using only one treasure radar. Not looking forward to doing it 3* anytime soon, but thank you for sharing.

Thanks for this strat, I swapped mecha-bun with +80 Jamiera and it kinda worked. Took me 3 tries though I think it all comes down on A.bahamut timing to hit the dogumaru.

Wuffa tries to keep levels low to make strategies more accessible to more people. For the most part strats are no Gacha, and the strats that do use Gacha cats use rare and super rare only.

Actually really easy with a variation of this strategy. “Punchpunchpunch” + “Sportwoman”, take Cutter Cat out and replace Pizza with Yukimura (keep Bahamut, Mecha Bun, Slapstick and Manglev). Yes, my units have higher levels but what I'm saying is there are harder stages in this game.

thank man good strat tbh, I haven't beat the stage yet but managed to kill 1 Dogumaru before the 2nd one come out that is the sign of a really good strategy but also need a really good management since I found it's not able to cheese I got the enemies base down to 590k in 1 run without killing all the Dogumarus and some really strong peons came out at once (2 Mooths, 4 Dark Otters with some Ginger Snaches)

I don’t think so, he would just get knocked back before finishing his attack animation some of the times, and his recharge time is really slow as well, just stick with Mecha bun

my lvl 50 immortal keiji helped a lot here (I still don't have slapsticks yet, so I used KG instead), and only my can can is lvl 50, with lvl 6 atk boost and lvl 3 hp boost. pizza had lvl 6 wave atk and was lvl 49, and fishman was only lvl 40, no talents. beat it first try with a rich cat my bahamut and bun bun were both lvl 40

I'd say stalling in this stage is even harder than having a full attacker front line tanky cats like Jamiera (20 +80, with Defense Up Small) has over 90k HP, can only take a few hits from just the peons of the stage combine with the really good speed of Dogumaru, he would rush to the base as fast as our line got depleted so stalling is really, really hard tbh
