Tsem i really hope you read this comment, Today 8 hours ago i was driving in my car and I said out loud... "What ever i must do to get out of this cycle of rebirth from this exsistance of suffering I will do it, if it true that i can remove my self out of this cycle in one life time then i will do what it takes and i give permission for the loving entities out there that can hear me to guide me along that path".... 8 hours later im sat watching this video. you was the chosen one that i was sent to, compliments to you! ill be watching all the videos you have! blessings

Tsem Rinpoche, your teaching reached the depths of my emotion. I felt the intensity of it hitting in my conscience. I am battling, and thank you so much for giving me this reminder again and again about it being a good sign. losses are suffered, and I did change my situation with the intention to change it inside, I did get hurt because of how Dharma led me to accept the truth. thank you

Chungku Selden Hi Chungku Selden. Thanks for the comment here.. I hope you’ll get more teaching from Rinpoche in His channel here. I’ve learnt a lot too. For this one, whenever I found my mind is unstable, on the verge of giving up or find that everything is just not right, I’ll come back to this teaching to remind me to move forward and also to push myself to do more

The only main "samsara" teaching I already had came from Christianity - "Be in the world, but not of it." Personally, I find that when I am having happy times, I like the idea of going beyond and helping others. When I am having bad times I still like to help others but I become much more focused on how I can help me. If helping me was not important, by principle, helping anyone else would also not matter. I am not the teacher here; I am some lady posting a comment.
@miriampia215810 жыл бұрын
Yes, but from my background, especially as adults, if we have work or families or both we have to help others every day. Many are mature enough to enjoy this, but some of the time people get annoyed by it, when it is too much compared to what the person is still like.

Wai Meng Wan I finally saw this. Is there an online connection to the study group? I have started checking out Tsem's online Chat. I prefer to meet in person but like connecting in English and have both worked and pursued multiple common interest groups online.

If everyone was happy, would one willingly look for God? If everyone had their dream come true, would anyone try to look beyond the facade? It's suffering which makes us realize what we are and what we are meant to be. The choices before us are our test, which we chose to undertake. Reincarnation, as long as you strive for 'happiness' will never end. What you should strive for is understanding and spreading compassion - the highest form of love.

serenading silence It is true that it’s the sufferings that made us realise that’s something more than life. We have to develop our subtle mind and nit the gross mind which will cease by the time of death. m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/oGi4mYWoat6nZ6s

If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy. Jerusalem is the city of PEACE that is reached by stilling the mind. "Be still and know that I am god". "And they stood still and god slew their enemies ( thought )" Job 29:10 the voices of the nobles ( the thoughts of the mind ) were hushed, and their tongues stuck to the roof of their mouths.

The True Church is WITHIN…. “When ye pray (meditate) go into thy closet (within one’s self) and pray (meditate) to the father (the cosmos) which is in secret” - Jesus “Be ye therefore transformed, by the renewing of your minds” I didn’t say that the “Lost word” was Meditation, Jesus did, Buddha did and so did Krishna. It’s commonly called “The Secret Doctrine” The “LOST WORD” Isn’t really a word at all, but in the silence, a new word, a new song is sung. That’s what is meant by “The word of god”

Romans 8:7 "Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be." That's why you have to reach a state of NO MIND, just as the bible instructs us to do. If you put ten thousand priests and holy men in a room, and then in walks a dog, the holiest person in the entire building will be the dog, do you know why? because a dog DOES NOT have a carnal mind.

wowy.. I got 2 seconds in.. and got confused.. please.. Master Rinpoche.. is it possible to both dislike something about doing Dharma and doing it at the same time?.. it seems mutually exclusive??? an oxymoron.. like military intelligence.. something I am intimately familiar with .. or lack thereof, eh?.. my father built nuclear weapons... so.. I get confused about this stuff.. no religious training.. or something.. although I confess to praying 🙏.. a lot.. I didn't tell him, no worries mate ,☆》.. . Maybe if I actually listen for a little longer 🤔???. I will see what happens.. it's a very great pleasure to listen to you, sir ❤.. thank you, Master Rinpoche

almost all human behavior is predicated on feeling better.. I got here through the back door.. from my studies in science and mathematics... and the idea of personal responsibility.. my crazy father worked really hard to make sure I understood how very very crazy it is.. and.. I am pretty sure he was not... so this sudden interest in Buddhist philosophy and the Tibetan culture... the history of our lovely Planet.. and.. living together peacefully.. I learned most of this stuff from my parents... no worries mate...my mom told me we all put our pants on one leg at a time.. except firemen, of course.... my father's family are all firemen in San Francisco.. or used to be... so.. I got curious... I already do this stuff.. not fast enough.. it's piling up around here... so.. I am enthusiastic.. I always have felt ok about myself and other people.. I learned how in my parents house. all over the World... I learned mi casa es su casa, hermano... ad Infinitum

thou art beautiful, sir.. and I love thee ❤ so very few people are as enthusiastic about Dharma as myself.. I didn't actually know that is what it is.. it's just what makes me... happy, joyous and free... free from the desire to change people, places and things to suit me... it's the other way around, every time... I found this way of living when I read the Just for Today >> Sanskrit proverb... it allowed me to change my life.. the only one I have any control over at all... it's absolutely ok.. it's a full time job

Romans 12:2 Verse Concepts And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. The renewing happens when one is in deep meditation, fasting from the world. Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. The classical worldly man no nothing of the spirit, he cannot discern spiritual things, when one raises themselves above mind then all things are possible.

Thank you, however the main point is not clear.Do better, apply yourself better seems to be the message of the vulnerable nun you have mentioned .Somehow I feel it is not so true most of the time people do as much dharma as they can according to their individual limitations at the time they are trying as hard as they can.

I felt this talk was highlighting that when people faced obstacles and difficulty, they should not quit and carry. Nothing ever good in life comes about without struggles. So when you are confronted with challenges keep doing and fighting and not doubt yourself, especially if you have checked out why are doing what your are doing.

But when I am training or doing my work well or I am creative - I don't feel bad. And the more you are getting away from orienting in the real world (politics, conspiracy, practical science and skills) - the less you are really practicing the life. Noting is getting easy for the most part. But it feels good to own your skills. And if there is any teaching that is simply makes your life better and less painful - I would choose it. So by advertising that your teaching is not making people happy you literally saying that the king is naked. The only way to be sure that you will get freedom is to be sure in it with your own mind and not by programming yourself with teaching every day. That sounds more like a way to brainwash yourself. Too many people in this world have spent their lives doing stupid work just because they brainwashed themselves into believe of some cult ideas. So you do have to doubt anything anyone is saying to you. This IS a practice that is 100% makes your life better.
