These recent uploads are a bit rushed and sometimes things happen. The second end fact is doubled, which is strange, as the image on the third scrap is correct. I'm really really sorry. Here's the third fact: "Nikephoros Bryennios the Younger was a loyal general to both John Komnenos and his father, Alexios. For his refusal to enter the conspiracy against John, he was deemed by his wife Anna Komnene as a coward and a man of weak character."

At this point in history they were mostly Anglo-Saxon. Earlier on they were purely Scandinavian. It's also worth noting that by this point England was entirely Christian as was all but the most remote parts of Scandinavia, so I'm not sure they would have said Valhalla; but they certainly still brought the 'viking'-aesthetic with their huge Dane-axes, shield-walls and honour culture (they were renowned for their oath-keeping). Definitely very savage combatants.

I am more than happy to see how your videos link up now that we see a comback of the varangian guard, since they had their debut in the video "Harald Hardrada: Battle of Nisa 1062 AD".

Just a correction, ΔΕΙΛΟΣ means coward, but if you want to call someone a coward the term becomes ΔΕΙΛΕ. Other than that, I loved the Greek, especially the ΑΪ ΣΤΟ ΔΙΑΟΛΟ. Also try pronouncing Beroia as Veria (the i is pronounced as in Ian).
