Red was the most common color, and was made from cheaper gas. Also Rebels often use Empire weapons in battles

Would have been nice playing as Rex as he journeys from Commander to General as a Rebel then New Republic Lead General and evevtually spending a term with Mon Montana's as the Galatic Defence Chief before retiring on Tatooine, Yavin or Endor as a farmer or Millatary Academy Instructor. A really fitting end for a slave soldier bread in the cloning chambers of Kanino. Immigine Asoka or Luke having to take orders from Rex. 😂
