The Battle of Indus:
The conflict between Genghis Khan, the founder of the Mongol Empire, and Jalal al-Din Khwarazmshah, the last ruler of the Khwarazmian Empire, is a significant chapter in medieval history, showcasing the might of the Mongol military and the tragic downfall of the Khwarazmian dynasty.
Background
Genghis Khan:
Born Temujin, Genghis Khan united the Mongol tribes and created the Mongol Empire, one of the largest contiguous empires in history.
Known for his military genius, strategic brilliance, and ruthless tactics.
His conquests included much of Asia and parts of Europe.
Jalal al-Din Khwarazmshah:
Son of Ala ad-Din Muhammad, the Shah of the Khwarazmian Empire.
Known for his bravery and resistance against the Mongol invasions.
His reign marked the end of the Khwarazmian Empire.
The Conflict
Initial Contact and Tensions:
The initial contact between the Mongols and the Khwarazmian Empire was through trade.
A caravan sent by Genghis Khan to Khwarazm was allegedly robbed and the merchants killed, possibly on the orders of the Shah.
Genghis Khan sent envoys to seek redress, but they were also killed.
Invasion of Khwarazm:
In 1219, Genghis Khan launched a full-scale invasion of the Khwarazmian Empire as retribution.
The Mongol forces swiftly captured key cities, including Bukhara, Samarkand, and Gurganj, employing brutal tactics and psychological warfare.
Jalal al-Din's Resistance:
After the fall of his father, Jalal al-Din took up the mantle of leadership.
He fought several battles against the Mongols, demonstrating tactical skill and courage.
One notable battle was the Battle of Parwan in 1221, where Jalal al-Din achieved a temporary victory against the Mongols.
The Battle of the Indus:
Following the Battle of Parwan, Jalal al-Din retreated to the Indus River, pursued by Genghis Khan.
At the Battle of the Indus, despite fierce resistance, Jalal al-Din's forces were overwhelmed.
Jalal al-Din famously escaped by swimming across the river, an act of bravery that impressed Genghis Khan, who reportedly spared his life out of admiration.
Aftermath and Legacy:
After his escape, Jalal al-Din continued to resist Mongol rule but could not reclaim his lost territories.The Khwarazmian Empire disintegrated, and the region fell under Mongol control.
Jalal al-Din's resistance became legendary, symbolizing defiance against overwhelming odds.
The conflict between Genghis Khan and Jalal al-Din Khwarazmshah highlights the clash between the rising power of the Mongol Empire and the declining Khwarazmian Empire. Genghis Khan's relentless campaigns decimated the Khwarazmian state, while Jalal al-Din's heroic but ultimately futile resistance remains a poignant chapter in the history of the region.

I am going to correct the claime about Khuttak who Give first Aid to Jalaludin Khawarzmi that khutrak may not be Arab of Spain who fleet after the fall of Spain. Time of battle of Changzai khan was 1221 at that time who Spain was under Muslim rule and Spain fall time was 1492
