I forgot the name, but I know for sure it's the one with Yakusho Koji as Takeda Shingen.

Are you familiar with the Sanada? They were vassals of the Unno and Takeda, but they were also known for using guns and ninja. Aside from their cavalry of course. In the winter campaign of Osaka, Sanada Nobushige was credited for his excellent use of musketeers and ambushes at the Sanadamaru.

Samurai in general are often portrayed in a more dramatic/romantic way than they probably would have been. Everyone has the idea of the Samurai being these katana wielding, soldier leading, death before dishonour type of guys. However, many were cunning rats that looked out only for themselves. Tokugawa Ieyasu for example, killed his wife and son because he wanted to stay allies with Oda Nobunaga. (Granted, Nobunaga was a complete fucking psycho.) Toyotomi Hideyoshi named his nephew (I think) heir because he wasn't able to produce one himself. However, he somehow managed to get a son. So he did the most obvious thing he could. He killed his nephew and his family. Oda Nobunaga burned down a place, killing thousand including women and children. Uesugi Kenshin was delusional and persuaded people he was the reincarnation of god so he could fight battles and see carnage. Takeda Shingen once ordered his troops to kill every living thing in the castle they were about to take. Anyway, my point is: They were just like any other warlord ever. Which means they also lived by this rule: "The outcome justifies the means." (or "Victory wipes away dishonour.")
