Thank you for sharing your talents! In teaching my 4th graders about different forms of storytelling, I share this video with them. No surprise that they love it! My mom had a Johnny Horton record we listened to growing up and this song brings back some of those childhood memories.

This is great. I can't believe it's the first time I see this film. I see many saw this before elsewhere. Btw, I'm impressed by the sequences with lots of figs animated all together, I go crazy with just 3, although I did animated once 15 minifigures all together doing different things, and having unsyncronized walking. That was quite a pain. Favourited, I loved it.

I have loved this song since I was a child. The music and lyrics were written by school teacher Jimmy Driftwood in 1936. Johnny Horton didn't sing all the verses. There are youtube videos with Driftwood singing the whole song.
I like the part where the British soldier is marching with his fellow soldiers, looks up and sees the American soldiers pointing their guns and cannons straight at him, he then looks to either side of him and realized "uh oh where did everybody go? I'd better get out of here!" LoL 😂
