Really enjoyed this video thanks for posting it. I am a big fan of Fighting Sail for this level of combat. A question I have is about how close the ships were to each other. My understanding is that they kept 2 cables apart, do you think that this would change the way the scenario plays?

Thanks. That’s not crazy. That would be ca. six scale inches. Problem, I suppose, is that’s more than a ship might move in a turn. The ships, per the rules should be on bases, but I can’t abide them and TTS doesn’t need them. They’d have spaced them out a bit.

@@JimOwczarski1824 Yes but it would reduce the risk of collisions, which is why they did it. The other question I had was about testing hits against the hull dice. If a ship is hit more than once, does it get to use it hull dice against each set of hits or does it have to tot all the hits up and save them with one roll? You seem to playing the former.

@@garrywillswargamerauthor Fair point, but I'm pretty conservative about allowing non-intentional collisions. As to your other question, it's interesting that there's nothing explicit, but the "Damage Tokens" summary suggests it's one ship at a time. Never occurred to me to do it the other way and I'd want something explicit to change it because it would have a pretty dramatic effect on gunnery.
