Haven't played in a little while, but in my experience those ranging guns on the 106 recoiless rifles don't work very well, at least not in game, past a few hundred meters the mg bullets fall faster than the shells, and for anything closer than that distance you can much more effectively just direct fire

I knew that targeting speed would be horrible in real matches The high crew level gives it a horizontal speed of 9 degrees, which is pretty bad on its own. Imagine having a brand new crew with that thing, you’d have a horizontal speed of 5 degrees per second lol.

You're an invincible menace if you peak behind any tiny bump with the FIAT since you don't have an extra cupola to hide and a depression of -10. Also a little advice in case OddBawZ didn't mention it in his video. The tiny MG on the cannon isn't for damaging things. It has roughly the same velocity as the main cannon, and was meant as a crappy rangefinder alternative.

It has a trick not many people know about. If you go to ground settings, you can activate "camera from tank gunner sight" and since the big cannon and sight sits together quiet high, you can shot in a hull down position very easy. It is a low tier stryker. :D

There is also a base version with just the 20mm turret. The early Marder 1 prototypes Ru 111 / 112 and 122 also just had a 20mm on a somewhat marderish looking chassis.

No tank is good in isolation. Odd's playstyle doesn't mesh well with the shutzenpanzer, and it is actually a great little fighting vehicle when used in its intended role; hiding behind things and lobbing RPGs. It's my favorite German ground vehicle at that BR, and there are a few maps where this thing absolutely rocks.

In my experience, this vehicle really is not that bad, you’re pretty much invincible when hull down and the 20mm can easily kill bulldogs, fiats, aubls, and can even take out cannon barrels. I think it’s a pretty good vehicle to fill the gap between the jagdpanzer 4-5 and the ru 251

Given how hard the nuke is to get AND how it was supposed to be used IRL, I think deployment should postpone winning conditions for a set of time (Roughtly the time it takes the slowest nuke carrier to fly through the tank part of the map) and deny enemy a win if it's dropped.

SPz is short for "Schützenpanzer", which is the german word for Infantry Fighting Vehicle. It looks like the chassis is the SPz-12 or something, the first IFV ever (technically), though it was a complete disaster, and was phased out of service fairly quickly, with other vehicles taking it's place; the only reason it ever entered service was corruption, with it being such a pain in the behind to keep running that we just couldn't do it.

I've been playing a bit of war thunder mobile, 2 things I wish they brought over is being able to choose your aircraft and allowing you to spawn aircraft after you die. As it is right now, you have to hide your tank, spawn in a bomber or fighter and then you only get 30 seconds in the air before you switch back to your tank. That's if someone hasn't pushed your spawn and killed your tank while you were in a plane.

I think they need to make nuking more interesting Maybe the timer stops as well as ticket bleeding, hell, the caps get reset and set to neutral. The caps aren’t capturable until the bomber has been intercepted. Give the bomber multiple spawn selections so players actually have to look where the bomber is coming in from, cause it’s easy to tell where the planes are coming in from

Odd u need to key bind select primary select secondary and select machine guns so whatever weapon is selected your sniper scope and crosshair is ranged for that weapon I generally only use it for shooting at planes or tanks with 2 cannons to be precise with the difference in velocities

Fun fact the 106mm isnt actually a 106mm round, its actually a 105mm labelled as 106mm so there werent any mix ups with standard rounds. Im glad this vehicle is a bit meh cause I do not have time what so ever to grind this seasons BP😂

Personally I think this is agreat BP vehicle. Not as in it's a great vehicle, but as in it's unique enough to be interesting, but also not a must have that you don't want to miss (like the PT-76-57). And if it's bad it might just go down in BR. 6.0 or something.

The first West German made Schützenpanzer ( long and short Versions) had been of Low quality. There had been former wwll german soldiers critisiced the Design of new Tank, so corruption could be a reason for introducion of this Tank.

It's actually worse for console players due to the overlap in controls. Both are considered main guns so... Unless you have weapon selection mapped it's impossible to shoot the guns individually. As well as other just universal disadvantages like bushes and graphics. It can be a nightmare having to re-map everything just for one tank

Oddbawz is entitled to his preferences and opinions, but re: first match a) he got 7 kills for one death and almost got a nuke b) he was in an uptier playing with German team c) he stayed in the same spot the entire first round of match. When a content creator says something sucks take it with a grain of salt. DEFYN says the jet with the MOST POWERFUL MISSILE IN THE GAME is rubbish. They just are more picky and play at a higher standard I guess.
