It is an extra fight which can be good with certain items and skills. You get gold for each of his health bars you deplete (more gold for each one). If you defeat him, you get a gold scrap item.

The sword will get the buff aswell by the time it attacks

@quetas83 but sword scales off of highest burn which means a lot of burn at once is really good

Cinder on Pop Snappers was 68% more effective than putting it directly on Infernal Greatsword with his build using a bronze Shadowed Cloak at the time

@@nichitacruceanu9540weather glass did nothing that entire run he had it, because it went off after the greatsword so didn’t stack his damage/exponentially stack his burn

He keeps it for the on haste freeze trigger. (It hastes when docklines is used as docklines is an acquatic item).
