I love this song. I just produced a mix of my own with my vocals inserted with theirs as if I were there during the original recording. It doesn't sound too bad for a nearly 71 year old phart trying to sound like a group of twenty-somethings.

i think its really funny that whenever you post you're back to working on smile you post huge amounts of new stereo mixes for other stuff. it's like having smile loom over you scares you into other stuff, lol. Everything you put out is so good, so that's fine by me!

I know you're working on your own smile mix rn but I have a suggestion. If you have access to the AI software, you should definitely recreate BWPS 2004 as if that version was released in 1967, purely by replacing the lead vocals with AI, replacing the backing vocals/harmonies with the 1967 backing vocals/harmonies (or using AI) and keeping the music as is. It should be a lot quicker of a job and there's a lot of demand for this exact thing in the community so it's basically easy views, easy subscribers. Sorry if I sound like an arse for telling you to do some big job, I just really like your work (you're better than all the rest) and so I think it would just be great if you had all the glory. I don't know where one gets the AI software so this definitely is coming from a place of ignorance, sorry.

I appreciate it, but in order to make that happen in a way that works well, I have to re-record every vocal and imitate every other Beach Boy. If I just "slap on" the software or model onto the '04 vocals, then I guarantee you that it will suck and sound terrible. I have the voice to imitate them well, but y'know, it'll take a lot of my time and my free time is very limited. I have a busy life so with the little time that I have, I'm going to try and finish my own mix first. Then maybe I'll consider doing this. But I bet someone else will do it.
