This family( The Restaurant), is so intwined in stress, love, pain, food, ideas, etc it's just unbelievable. Yes, every episode will stress you out, sometimes a little, sometimes a lot & sometimes, too damn much. But it's also going to touch you & there will be tears. Every single episode is great! That C isn’t rare, I’ve seen it a lot but once I saw a restaurant get a C, address the issues and the next week they had a B but for all the work you have to put in to go from C to B, I need to know why it’s a C. After that C, I made sure to never darken their door way, they closed after lots of complaints. This show is on point for how some kitchens really work - from something as “laidback” as The Beef to something as exclusive as the Michelin star restaurant Carmy worked in. I haven’t worked in a food since college but that feeling of not breathing under the pressure…it’s real, I had to learn how to breathe properly again, it had my stomach all messed up. I didn’t even notice until 2019 - that my breathing patterns were not normal.
