Ukraine isn't positioning their artillery together, they're spreading it out and using a central targeting computer that gives firing mission to units that are in ranger of a given target. The end result is fire coming in at the same time from multiple directions.. ya can't really shoot back at all of them.

Incorrect, the Caesar only needs 1 minute to set up (choosing targets can be done on the move to the position), fire a few shells (6 rounds/min) and 30 seconds to pack up and leave its position. The crew is gone even before the first shell hits its target at full range (42 km with standard ammo), counter battery can't even react that the truck has already moved

The shell that you have fired have not yet reached their target (takea bout 100 seconds at 35 km), but you, you are not anymore where the enemy thinks that you should be. So, a great advantage is that you are not exposed to counter battery measures. It's true, however, that the max range of the canon (42 km with conventionnal shells, 50 to 55 with rocket propelled shells) is exeptionnal for this type of machine, and would normally be achieved only with an angle of shoot above 45 °. Accuracy : 10 to 40 meters @ 40 km)

How is it gonna 'shoot 'n scoot'? Looks like it takes the crew to get outside, set up and sight the gun, then tear it down again. How many minutes from stop to fire? Won't take too long until those anti-artillery salvos start coming back...unless I'm missing something, a system such as the K9 Thunder looks far superior - 60 seconds from full speed to firing, able to move off 30 seconds after that shot, etc.

It's not that kind of gun. The Caesar is more of a "towed artillery in which the gun is sitting on top of the towing vehicle" rather than a proper SPG like the Archer, M109, 2S35, or PzH2000

wrong, the Caesar only need 1 minute to set up (choosing targets can be done on the move to the position) and 30 seconds to pack up and leave its position. The K9 or the PzH-2000 are 50 tons tanks, when a 6x6 Caesar howitzer is a 15 tons truck. The crew is gone even before the first shell hits its target at full range (42 km with standard ammo)

Better mobility... weighs just 18 tons while a Pzh-2000 weighs 50 tons. Which means CAESAR can be airlifted by C-130 and similar aircraft while Pzh-2000 can only be airlifted by a big Antonov. Also CAESAR can drive 600km while Pzh-2000 only drives 420km and has to rely on trucks carrying them to cover larger distances. And the weight plays another role, CAESAR can drive over many bridges while Pzh-2000 with its heavy weight may not.

yes, but ceasar isn`t bad at all, and it depends on what you are looking for. for example, ceasar is way faster and lighter than a pzh 2000, but it`s a wheeled vehicle. the pzh 2000 doesn`t need any special preparation, it can fire almost as soon as it stands still, it has a higher rate of fire, and can change it`s position at any time. but it`s heavy as fuck, so you need special equipment for the transport, and strong bridges, while ceasar can drive anywere a regular truck can drive.

PzH-2000 carries 60 shells, Caesar 8x8 30 shells, Caesar 6x6 18 shells. The PzH is on a Leopard 2 chassis, because it is supposed to follow and support the tanks wherever they go. The Caesar is easier airliftable at 30 tons.

That is country of Europe union. 24 Nora (Alexander TGS) is in Cyprus army and also they have buy MLRS -Tamnava (our newest mlrs that can fired 122mm and 262 mm missiles) For example it can fired 48 missiles 122mm and in the back of same vehicle there is another 48 missiles ready for fired. All of changing modules are running from cabin of Tamnava MLRS because it have hydraulic hand to change modules. Everything is digital and precision isn't like that you have see in Ukrainia. I must told you that we made 122mm missile with range of 40km( G-2000) and 52km ( G-2000/52). They are expensive but Cyprus buy a lot of those that reach up to 40km.
