With all the time spend at home these days, I decided to go through my Beatles collection! I was amazed at just how much product was released in just the 10 year span between 2009-2019. Wow! While this is not my entire collection, it makes up a sizable chunk. There doesn’t seem to be any slowing of interest in this band!

The past 10 years have been a great time for Beatles’ fans between the stereo and mono remasters, vinyl releases both stereo and mono, Blu-ray’s of their movies (except Let It Be 😡) and the 50th anniversaries of Sgt. Pepper, The White Album, Abbey Road (except Let It Be 😡) not mention their solo efforts with remaster of John’s and George’s catalogs and Paul’s Archive collection. Thanks for sharing your collection....lots of cool stuff!

Really enjoyed your video. I have about 90% myself. I haven't seen many people with the Box of Vision. I bought mine from QVC when they had their Beatle shows. So glad the Beatles organization is still putting out products for their fans! Take care.

really great and informative video...i enjoyed it a great deal and was surprised at the amount of new product available. my favourites are the us albums box and white album remaster - haven't had a chance to get revolver...abbey road is pretty good too...i am getting a bit old and slightly physically disabled to go to shops and record fairs as before....your video helps to fill that gap. many thanks

@@MagicalMysteryMike always loved how they looked, brings a lot of nostalgia from when I was 5 years old when they came out, my dad would give me the longboxes (they long since been gone), but I’ve recollected and took me a while to get the disc for them. And truthfully, they don’t sound that bad.

You don't realize how much product was actually released until you put it all together like this. I have just about everything you showed here. I don't have the Japan set (yet) or all of the iTunes material (just the 1963 one). My Rockband game is for Wii and I'll locationally take it out and play it but not too often. I still want to get this mixes on CD from the game but I haven't found a good deal on them anywhere. And those Canadian CDs I never even heard of before. Interesting and seemingly pointless release:) I wish the Box of Vision company hadn't shut down. I got all three of their boxes and they are really worth it just for the books alone! Would've loved maybe a Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd one. Anyway great video and I look forward to more.

Thank you. I am not huge into vinyl either, but I will get releases that aren't offered on CD, like The Christmas Records. I do enjoy it, but the cost and space factor is something I'd rather not delve too deep into. Most of my collection is on CD, as I graduated from cassettes in the 80s to CDs in the 90s.

Great collection covering a very fruitful decade for collectors and fans both. I have the majority of those titles in my collection. I enjoy supplementing official stuff with some more obscure titles. Particularly the TMOQ GAZETTES are of very high quality both in sound and film quality. Very entertaining channel.

Man, some of those "gray market" releases are really nice looking! Yeah it looks like a lot of stuff has come out over the last 10 years, but other then the special projects like the Eight Days A Week film, it seems like the first half of the decade, after getting the catalog remastered, and upgrading the packaging and mastering on stuff like the red/blue, 1, bbc etc, they have been steadily providing fans with the stuff many have been asking for- a collection of the promo films, a release of the Hollywood Bowl album, the Xmas records (even though hopefully they get around to reissuing the album with all the messages on one disc with that cool blue cover with the pics of them through the years) and best of all, opening the vaults once again to celebrate album anniversaries in well put together packages that also gives them a reason to remix the album ( the remixes are nice, but personally I'm there for the bonus tracks) Of course there will always be people left unsatisfied, and there are still a few decisions that leave me going "huh?!" Like, Where's Shea? Why start the anniversary sets with Pepper instead of at the beginning ? Hopefully they will go back and redo the other albums, since the catalog is relatively small enough that each one could justify a deluxe set (maybe not Yellow Sub). And since we will be FINALLY getting Let It Be sometime this year along with a brand new movie and most likely a box set , there is a chance that one day Apple crosses off the stuff on all our bucket lists, and gives us stuff we didn't even know we wanted in the first place. Also at the rate they are going- 1, maybe 2 major releases a year -I think they have managed to provide a steady stream of releases without feeling like they are flooding the market with product that feels like cash grabs. Sorry for the long post, I love talking Beatles and speculating on what to look forward to!

Joe Dee there are so many variations on the 1987 CDs, and they’re so cheap that I’ve been amassing them over the years. I’ll eventually get around to a video on the ol’ 87s.

Mike, Giles Martin did the Rock Band remixes. The sonic integrity, the actual sound quality blows away anything I have heard thus far plus his concept of panning makes more musical sense than the originals. I wish Giles would remix everything using the amount of compression he used on Rock Band. Also, there is a 2016 version of "1" with yellow background and a red "1" which are remixes on CD plus a DVD

It is a shame those Rock Band remixes were somewhat overlooked. They deserved an audio release themselves. Giles has done an excellent job on the various remix projects he's worked on. Overall I am happy with most of this remixing and I hope the entire catalogue gets the remix treatment. Not to replace the original mixes, but to sit alongside them.

Thanks for showing your collection. Two items I'd like to recommend that came out before 2009 are the British The Beatles CD Singles Collection and The Beatles Compact Disc EP Collection box sets. The mono and stereo presentations are correct to the original releases and the sound is great and the covers are a real treat. I would like to see your take on the Capitol US album sets.

You are right! I do have CD singles and EPs. They are both fantastic box sets. I also have the Capitol Albums box sets and I will eventually do a video on these. I have been working through having a video for each item shown in this video, and then I will branch out to older (or newer) items.

Great video! They really did release a lot of stuff between 2009- now. I also bought the box of vision in 2009. I’d be interested to know if you found it useful or not. I had my cds stored in it, for awhile, but eventually found it to be cumbersome. It’s still a cool part of my collection. It’s, now, just an empty part of my collection. 😂

I have a fully loaded BOV, but it took me some time to fill it up, as I wanted a "spare copy" of each album for the box. That's not very practical.

Personally I enjoyed the mono box set, the Rock Band Remixes, the two DVD edition of 1+ and the bonus material from the Pepper, White Album and Abbey Road boxes the most. 2009 - 2019 was a fun time period to be a Beatles fan.

what about the beatles cirque du soleil LOVE album from 2006? i think it was the first time time the beatles were presented in a 5.1 audio dvd format. of course it was before the remasters but this LOVE album was remixed by george martin and it sounds great in 5.1.

Are those Canadian compilation CDs made by a company called Stargrove Entertainment Inc? I have one by them from 2017 called The Beatles Classic Hits Collector's Edition. There are 2 CDs (they're packaged like the Let It Be... Naked CD) and the songs sound very low quality lol.

I bought a bunch of cds that were never on cd from ebay. Rock n Roll music , Love Songs , Reel Music , Rarities. , 2cd the Black Album. A cd called now & then that song with Carnival of light all13 minutes. Real love grow old with me etc. .Beatles and Paul McCartney Rocks. Great song Party Party..john lennon anthology v 3. 2cd/dvd...PM back in the world live cd.

Hi Mike! Impressive collection! I got myself a Mono CD box set not too long ago - I’m pretty sure it’s legit judging from the Apple logo on the front being a nice looking image but I wanted your input - particularly on the Apple logo in front of it - is the apple on the Mono Box Set generally a bit more of a warmer shade / less bright and saturated green than the Apple on the Stereo Box set? It’s getting hard to tell what is a legit Apple logo haha, because I see the Beatles Singles Collection 7” set has a crisp but more darker apple compared to the 09 box set. My apologies for the long and winding question haha - good day to you sir!

A good way to tell is by examining the mini LP jackets. IN MONO is a beautifully detailed box set with reproductions of the original UK LP designs. This includes fold-over flaps on the back of the jackets. The fakes I've seen do not reproduce this feature.

Do you have The Beatles Anthology coffee table book? I always wanted it but never saw it for sale until I went to see The Beatles Love in The Mirage in Las Vegas. I was so committed to owning it I bought it in the Beatles shop there and hauled that boat anchor back in my bag on the plane.

The remixes from Rock Band were not officially released. Some industrious fans figured out how to extract them from the game and they're floating around out there.

The U,S, Albums - this is something I really wanted, yet I've heard that this set doesn't use the original Capitol mixes. The albums were also sold individually, so I was able to finally get a Capitol Records issue of the Butcher Cover for 12 bucks - granted it's a CD, but wouldn't it have been THE BEST had the set had a vinyl addition such as the British stereo and mono remasters. If this had come to pass, we'd all have finally been in possession of the original Yesterday and Today on Capitol Records with that cover in stereo and mono.

I never picked up that Record Store Day release. That was one I never had any interest in. I’ll probably get it at some point, but I always thought it was a weak release, and nothing unique enough to get.

As far as the CDs, they are various pressings of the ‘87 CDs. I’ve been amazed how many variations there are, and they’re very affordable. I get the thrill of the hunt, without spending too much cash. I even stumbled upon a Black Triangle Abbey Road in a Beatles CD lot. Best find ever!

That is a very expensive endeavor! The challenge of tracking down these pressings would be the fun part, but the cost... I've thought about it, but have managed to avoid this obsession... so far. ;)

I’m hoping for this year (2020) a new release of “Get Back/Let it Be” CD and also Peter Jackson’s Let It Be film on DVD, In fact in this video you omitted the unSpectorized version of Let It Be/Naked which was released in November of 2003. I happen to prefer that album over the Phil Spector version of Let It Be.

There will not be a release of the Get Back movie until August 2021. I'm not too hopeful of an audio release this year either, but ya never know. I only focussed on items that were released between 2009-2019. There were plenty for this video. I do have the ...Naked version of Let It Be, and it is quite good. I don't like it better than the Spector version, but I love it as a companion.

Could you tell me where you found these editions of "Rock Band" on CD "jewel case"? I found, on eBay, some units in the formed mini LP CD. But as the value of the dollar, with the covid-19, is six times higher than the value of the currency of Brazil, it is not being possible to acquire them.

I purchased the Rock Band CDs from a private seller years ago with some other Beatles CDs. Hold off for now, and perhaps you'll find 'em down the line for a price you can live with. I'm taking a break for now spending so much on The Beatles. This video helped me go back and appreciate what I have ... I'll take a look at what comes out related to Let It Be. Until then, I'm going to be content with what I already have.

Now I know why you didn’t mention Let it Be Naked, it pre-dated release was before 2009 so it probably wasn’t worth mentioning. I have just about everything you shown except for the Canadian and Japanese Beatle imports.

Exactly on Let It Be ...Naked. I wouldn't say it isn't worth mentioning, it just didn't fit the criteria for this video. The Japanese imports are fantastic. The Canadian CDs ... not so much.
