How Great is George in this scene? Never took an acting lesson in his life. Bottom line -- each Beatle was so compelling on screen, the camera loved them. The films director said George was the best, acting wise and that whatever he was called upon to do he nailed it, like the shaving scene in the bathroom mirror. But this scene with the ad agency guy and the hot secretary is the best!

A Hard Day's Night is a 1964 musical comedy film starring the English rock band the Beatles-John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr-during the height of Beatlemania. It was originally released in the United States on August 11, 1964 by United Artists. The film was a financial and critical success and was nominated for two Academy Awards including Best Original Screenplay. Forty years after its release, Time magazine rated it as one of the 100 all-time great films.

@arkady7142 жыл бұрын
@@VixxKong2 You might have a point but there is one thing. Most people in pop culture who set trends were based in some sort of art form. Boys dressed and wore their hair like The Beatles or other rock stars because they wanted, to some degree, to emulate their talent and appeal. Influencers aren't entertainers. The Kardashians (today's best examples) are famous for being famous. They don't sing, dance or act. Just like the "posh bird" in this scene. The Beatles' initial job was to write music and sing. Influencers have no such talent nor are they actually required to!

Every one of The Lads got a solo section. Paul’s got cut, and ended up on the editing floor. I guess they figured Granddad McCartney gave Paul enough extra attention. (I disagree.) Be that as it may, my opinion is that George had the best section by far!! We never heard George talk much until AHDN. We found out he’s witty, he has perfect ‘deadpan humor’ and if he had been a tad more polite he could have had a career doing commercials with Susan. “And who’s this Susan when she’s a’home?” My favorite section in the film.
