I think after they got in their late 20s, it became less fun. Beatlemania, though exciting for a while, left them isolated with each other or by themselves. They couldn’t hear themselves play due to the screaming fans, and quit touring in near the end of 1966. George was still in his early 20s and the other three, in Their mid 20s. At least, that’s what my mom said.

These were the years when things were fresh and new for them. By the time the end of the 60s came around they were exhausted with being "The Beatles". Always on tour and doing pop star stuff bored and aged them, so played pretend and and things like Sgt Peppers/Magical Mystery Tour (this young brothas personal favorite)/yellow submarine and stuff. To escape all that hype is what they wanted.

Thx! That’s a lotta footage that I’ve never seen! Though I new they were very playful lads! In fact that was their signature trademark in the movies and cartoons. They may even have been the first band to be themselves in performance! Before that people were very proper. Look up "Goon Comedy," which they grew up on. They were always funny -- as comes across in the Peter Jackson montage preview of the coming "The Beatles: Get Back" film. That's one thing that was distinctive about them: not only great music, but also funny and fun outside (and sometimes in -- check out "You Know My Name (Look Up the Number)") that. And note how they behaved on stage: relaxed, and individual, especially Lennon with his faces and physical humor. Everyone else was uptight. They came across as regular down-to-earth people, whereas everyone else was being "professional".

My favorite one: John tells a reporter his name is Nigel. And she believes him. He knew that was the ultimate troll move because within a few months everyone in the world knew who he was. Also it’s a shame the owners of the Beatles music are always restricting it. I think we should all agree their music should belong to everyone. Paul should be speaking out. I wonder if the plastic ono band is good on KZbin. You get to see that John simply wasn’t in reality after his mom died. So much trauma he turned his life into kind of a dream and never took it seriously. It’s a great listen.

These were the early years. You tend to see it with boy bands that over time they become more serious and bored in interviews. Plus the Veatles quit touring and were with each other virtually 24 7 so things got pretty heated towards the end of the decade.

Yep they we're playful and goofy early days but when they sense that they're talents are blooming each of anyone of them are annoyed to each other that's the sad part but the good thing is even then they've been apart in the end they're still families or brothers.

They're not like this anymore after '66 and Paul isn't charming, kind, and funny anymore. which explains his gone, but he's replacement was a genius with a plastic surgery, and the fact that none of Paul's children look like the real or old Paul
