My daughter, Lillian Jean, passed away 6 years ago this past Valentine's day. I was looking for a cover of this song today, so I could study it and do a cover for a friend myself. This was the first one I saw and quite naturally clicked on it. I don't know what it was about this video, but it honestly opened up the floodgates. I guess you can say I've been doing pretty well, despite some personal family hardships, I haven't really cried over anything but this cover and these beautiful melodies and the smiles on their faces, I couldn't hold back what I didn't even know was there anymore. Cried in my car for a solid 10 minutes while playing this. Their voices were like therapy.

I put down my cat today. The first lyric my dad thought of after the pets left our home, was the second verse of golden slumbers. I’ve been watching so many covers of this song and many of them I’ve skipped over because it just didn’t feel like the artists had the same understanding of the song that I might be taking from it. I listen to this over and over, just found these two TODAY when I was looking up different version of this song. And each time I listen, goosebumps and tears flowing, I keep wondering......Just who are these 51 people who don't like this cover????!! Absolutely wonderful, I could not keep myself composed, listening to this and I had listened to several other versions first and yes they were moving, but not the same as this one. Now I want you guys to sing to me all the time. lol Question, I've heard a few versions/covers where they combine, Goldens Slumbers/Because. Do you think you guys could combine those sometime?
