What Paul says about power is so true. Prior to the Beatles, record labels restricted recording artists from so much, like the fact that they had to record where, when, and what the labels said they could. But then came the Beatles, and you can't really say no to them, so they just became free to do what they wanted and changed how much power artists have forever.

Interviewer says that he'll retire in 2010. In 2013, Paul released another record and in 2015, he still does concerts. One of the things that he says is "Why retire when I would rather be out there playing?" I wonder if Paul looked back on this recently and thought about that a little.

+cucho69 there are differences. But, don't you see difference in John Lennon? Paul is alive, and that whole thing was fake. If you look at Paul, you see that his left eye is lower than his right. In every single picture. Also, that would have been proven correct by now, it was going on fifty years now, and because it hasn't, I detest that theory. Do you think Miley Cyrus died a few years ago when she chopped off all her hair? Slight differences don't change a person. Nobody claims that the real Michael Jackson died because of the changes he underwent due to a skin disease, but yeah, Paul McCartney died in a car accident. It makes perfect sense, right? It doesn't. There is more evidence to disprove this conspiracy than there is to support it. If anything, it was a publicity stunt or just some stupid rumor that was made by somebody back then. Paul is alive. I rest my case.

That is incredible that he said 2010, Paul cancelled that world tour and will be doing one off shows for a litle while and prolly will be retiring around that time. Or as close to retiring as Paul could ever get. That was a good interview. The guy had substance and asked good questions. It's funny even he asked that "what will you do after all this?" question even differently. He wasnt an idiot and interviewed Paul as he would a person to whom he respect not just some kiddle pop idol

To those two people, Frost and McCartney, the year 2010 was Jetsons with flying cars and buildings in the sky, etc........at that moment. Of course, we all made it to 2010 and you are right.....no flying cars or buildings in the sky but here sits Paul McCartney still very much a newsworthy man, playing, singing, and being interviewed.

I always wondered about that - he does that a lot (using his middle finger to scratch his face) - but then I discovered that the British sign for flipping someone off is two fingers (index AND middle finger - like a reversed peace sign), so in this case, he's just scratching.
