Glad to see the Long Tall Sally EP getting some love! I feel like at some point, you'll do I Call Your Name, which like Matchbox has a unique groove. I always liked the version of Matchbox where Ringo gets to play it with Clapton and Carl Perkins himself.

@@JacobKMusics thank you Jacob! I love that version as well! I Call Your Name will be up in the near future. Not the hardest drumming but it’s what the song needs. And I get to break out the cowbell.

Good song, but Ive always prefered the live versions. I dont like the mix of the official one and Ringos drumming has that great swing and shuffle, as always, but its missing something. At the live versions, hes busier. Not to mention that his natural voice, without the double-tracking, was way more cool. By the way, great drumming, as always!
@davidmontis72593 ай бұрын
@@enricomenconi7015 thank you very much! Live versions usually tend to some better than the studio version and the live version of this is no exception. The BBC version is a lot more energetic and he is playing more fills in the recording. I guess for the studio they wanted something a little tamer.

For me the only real problems with the studio version is the lack of fills and ringo’s lethargic voice but there not enough to make me hate it like most people
