"John Lennon", "Paul McCartney", "George Harrison" and "Ringo Starr/Richard Starkey" were stage names for Colin Unwin, John Halliday, Terry Johnston and Mark (last name unknown). When their contract ended in 1966, they got home to Liverpool and had normal jobs.

Great Lennon, almost single track vocal, so you can hear the lyrics a lot easier, sip their lemonade, and backing vocals missing, or at least almost entirely. One problem, because the backing is still rather heavy, it is noticeably lopsided between the center and the left channel, maybe because the heavy bass is missing. Maybe the drums could have been moved to the right.

Well there’s take 5 slowed down of this, released on the super deluxe Revolver back in 2022. It has zero fade out at all. And you can hear the actual ending of Rain.
