George's solos are so brilliantly simple. The song's chord structure is so simple. The song's accent on the offbeat is genius! Paul's voice goes perfectly up an octave on the first two words of the song. Ringo's holds it all together. They were geniuses goofing-off and having fun. I'm a 1st generation Beatles fan since1964 at the age of 11. Today's young people don't get it when I'm smiling as l listen to this song after 55 years.

We were lucky to live when we did. Imagine all the people that don't know the impact of the Ed Sullivan show; the day before vs. the seachange that happened that night. I was 11 in '64 as well. 🎵🎶

@@cuda426hemi So late to the party. If appreciating the impact upon America just as it had us *in 1962* , we always laugh at you juxtaposed with irritation at the self-absorbed egocentric arrogance of Americans who think The Beatles were only discovered ....thanks to Ed Sullivan ....in 1964! And of course, I agree with you about lucky generation to have experienced what we did. I just wish we could have been spared America's wannabe contribution of The Monkees. o.O

I like it when Mike casually remarks at the end of each tutorial, "Hey! Let me play the whole thing, just for fun" ...Then goes on to do an epic, one-man cover.

Worth noting that to keep such a rock solid rhythm through a whole song is a lesson in itself. People don't realize how much of a committment real musicians make to solid rhythm -- this is a good lesson, John is really as impressive here as with the fancier stuff.

Once again a great job on a classic Beatles Rocker. Your vocal was Outstanding . Everytime I watch one of your Beatles lessons I pick up some new trick to add when I play these songs myself. I don't play them exactly as recorded as you do. I could never remember all the nuances in their so called basic Guitar playing on the records. George the best ever at the less is more style of lead/fill Guitar playing. I think he was at his best on the earlier recordings as later their songs had so many other instruments that the Guitar became less important to the songs. To me 1964-1966 Hard Days Night thru Revolver period were Georges best work on the recordings. Yeah I know he did get stuff later, Something, Hey Bulldog, etc. Thats just my feel on things.
