The Beatles - You Never Give Me Your Money: Couch Covers by The Student Loan Stringband

We'd make a joke about this being ideal Beatles song for tax season, but if we were to make such a joke, we'd choose a more obvious tax-themed Beatles selection, like "Elanor Rigby."
It's a real shame we didn't have a tambourine for this recording. Ringo absolutely killed it on tambourine.

What a wonderful bit of playing. Discovering you in May, actually June 1st, of 2023. I remember listening to this a lot in the 60's as I stomped around Pittsburgh, Pa. wearing my bell-bottom jeans and tall leather boots to which I attached a pair of little bells, so as I strolled around town, I could hear myself walk in the crisp cool air. Probably the free-est time in my life, as I went from occasional class at the University of Pittsburgh to friends' home to art events to communes of people trying to live their dreams... What a magical feeling ...
