I know the Citation X is something special. So many Cessna models are known for their efficiency and practicality. Uh... not this guy! I can't get enough of it! This video is really, really good too. The AE3007C engines are long because there's a 14-stage axial compressor with no length-saving centrifugal stage. Also, the combustor is the straight-through type, not reverse flow. The fan is 39 inches across, which is 2/3 the width of the entire fuselage. It's not a particularly large engine, but mounted on this small airframe it looks huge.

I flew one from LV to Orange County. It something that I doubt I’ll ever forget... nor, never forget how fast the clouds flew past us in the cockpit windscreen. I want to do it again...

Flew one of these from Louisville to Atlantic City: Absolutely ballistic. 51 minutes. Pilot was at 43,000 feet half way, put the nose down and applies speed brakes at just past the apogee . This flight was like being shot out of a cannon.

That plane must have fighter jet power. It's literally all engines! From a distance you only see the engine then as it moves into frame the body becomes apparent. It cam probobly climb at 2000 feet all the way up to it's ceiling, fully loaded and probably hit top cruising in the process.

TheHDAviation Pretty? The Citation X’s whale belly, droopy snout, huge out of proportion engines and fat ass tail glob have always made it one of the LEAST attractive biz jets, ugh. She’s famous for performance, not looks. This is an aircraft best enjoyed from the cockpit and the passenger seats.

What a fucking beauty, wow! Absolutely stunning to look at with the Blue and Silver (?) paint job. When I see the aircraft from about 10 o clock or 2 o clock it definitely reminds me of a bird of prey. No other jet apart from Concorde can hold a candle in pure design aesthetics to the Citation X.
