The beautiful Temples of JIUFEN - Traditional village Taiwan - The hidden Gems - Travel Guide

JiuFen is one of the most popular places to visite in Taiwan. It is a traditional village, where you can immerse yourself into the local culture. While JiuFen Old Street with its many stalls and souvenir shops attracts plenty of tourists on a daily base, the temples are often being forgotten. JiuFen is the home to master pieces of Taoist temples that I call the hidden Gems of this place. Especially the QingYun temple is the most beautiful Taoist temple that I have ever visited.

Hi! Besides walking to Qingmun/Qingyun Temple, are there other forms of transpo? On the actual Google Map, there's a bus stop icon, but it's not showing up on the routes provided :( How else can I visit the temple? I really want to visit, it's beautiful!

Hey, it's me, Emon from the Philippines. I've been to JiuFen, and I didn't realize that I can go inside these temples. I was able to reach Sheng Ming Temple. I was only one there, and I felt I was already lost.

Hi Emon. That's great to hear. I also felt a bit lost at the upper most temple (ShengMing). There was nobody, but that's what I so much enjoy about traveling. Finding beautiful underrated spots inside hotspots :) Hope next time you can visit these temples :)

Hi. You need to go to RuiFang by train and then to JiuFen. The temple is in Jiufen itself. You can search it on google maps to know the exact location :)
