The name "Abia" was derived in 1991 from the initials: Aba, Bende, Isuikwuato, and Afikpo. As at then Afikpo was part of Abia State, although Afikpo later became part of Ebonyi State in 1996. This last part was omitted in the video.

Question 1: Whats the difference between Bende and isiukwuato? ----> Bende is one of the 17 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Abia State. It is situated in the northern part of Abia State. ----> Isuikwuato is also one of the 17 LGAs in Abia State. It is located in the central part of Abia State. For question 2, if i correctly understand you. Umuahia is the Capital of Abia State and it was never abbreviated in the video.
