So sad to me that so many people slagged this beauty of a game and wrote it off without a second thought. No, the writing/story isn't revelatory (neither is the source material, imo). But the atmosphere, world design, combat, voice acting, and traversal mechanics are A+ material. This game is so, so committed to what it is, and the IP it represents. I've never been much of an avatar fan, but I deeply respect the attention to detail and effort that went into this game. Beautiful, just beautiful.

A lot depends on resolution but at 1080p (and probably even 1440p) I reckon you'll be good. Game seems pretty well optimized across the board.

This is impressive, but the game release in 2023 vs the movie in 2009 shows real time graphics still have a long way to go before achieving cinematic quality. We are slowly getting there !
