Wow I'm shocked this is your first video! It was really well edited and scripted. I loved your use of humor throughout. I mostly agree with you. I really loved the game, although the graphics and repetitive maps drag it down. Also blue lions are the best house and Ferdie best boy imo

SPOILERS BTW Let's not forget that at the end of Dimitri's path, he offers his hand to Edelgard, his former classmate, just as his mentor did to him. But, after everything she went through, all of the lives she took and all of the sacrifices she had to make, she refused to take his hand. Even though she desperately wanted a second chance at change and forgiveness, she knew that once she became Emperor, there was no turning back. And for those who chose the Black Eagles, this scene becomes so much more emotional. Really such an amazing game.

As a black eagle the end of the blue lions route was so sad for me. I don’t understand how Dimitri fans/simps can say Edelgard is evil when the end of the route is so meaningful.

The ambiguity of Edelgard's reaction is really nice and can be interpreted in multiple ways. At least to me, she basically just wanted to die as a way to pay for her actions and knew, at this point, Dimitri wouldn't be killing her off. In other words, she commits sewerslide. Then looking at Dimitri's death in Crimson Flower and the tables turn. Dimitri is still utterly pissed, leaving Edelgard no choice but to kill him, similar to how Dimitri had no choice but to kill her in Azure Moon's ending. Damn...it's sad that both characters have to suffer through so much. I. . .do have my biases and side with El, but neither should be written off as some evil jerk. Unfortunately violence isn't always avoidable, but at least the player can spare multiple foes in both routes. ^^

I think a big reason for that could be because Fire Emblem and Smash Bros are so intertwined in more recent years, with Fates and Three Houses both getting represented with fighters in Smash Bros, and not Echoes. Sad, but that doesn’t help in its favor.

@@brandonwelty nah. My theory is that there's a variety of reasons. 1.) The marketing. Think about how many ads you saw for echoes prior to release day? Can't? That's bc all i saw were on CARTOON NETWORK! 2.) It's a remake. Nobody wants to play older games bc let's be honest, they're more difficult. 3.) Fates was so bad that many casual players flat out dropped the series for years and never came back till 3h got popular.

Smash Ultimate has introduced me to some of my new favorite games of all time. I had never touched Fire Emblem or Persona. But because Joker and Byleth were such cool characters to me (I'm a Joker main in Smash), I got Persona 5 and Three Houses. Persona 5 is in my top 10 favorite videogames now, and Three Houses is my Top 5 switch games, maybe even top 3

I've really wanted to get into the story of fire Emblem 3 houses but I just can't stand the gameplay (it's cool if you do, I'm just a heavily action based gamer), how does the Warriors game do when it comes to the story? Does it expect me to already know the story? I am of the few who like the Warriors games so I'd be fine to play it.

To be quite frank I never liked fe three houses, I'm more of a mystery of the emblem, fates, genealogy of the holy war, binding blade kind of guy, I wasn't planning on buying the game at all but I really think I should give the game a try which is why I will be buying it!

@@GoldLight73 Hell no, I enjoy a good story stories like persona 5 since it was amazing, the gameplay just seemed unpolished and boring, plus I am a big fan of the way critical animations looked so flashy both in fates and binding blade so looking at the ones in three houses just looks plain and boring.

@@GoldLight73 I would have to say that I was averse to 3h as well because what I saw didn't look very good. Im a bit of an elitist and will always praise the tellius, gba, thracia, and sometimes awakening games. 3h is fun and has a lot of great things that I love, but it simply does not stand to the same heights as these games in it's lackluster map design and objectives. Along with that the monastery is nice for the first 6 months at least but then becomes an extreme chore. Not to mention how ridiculously trivial the game is, which makes a route after route chapter loop tedious. While having the easiest defeat boss chapters if you know how to efficiently use warp "staves" and dancers. Little to no side objectives were involved and map mechanics were sleep inducing for me. It lacked all that I loved but I still would recommend it as an enjoyable experience

3 houses sucks, one of the lower rates fire emblem definitely. But seriously it's alright, just that the map design, objectives, and the monastery are extremely dull. First playthrough as a veteran of the series on hard mode, no units died it's ridiculously easy. Though In my second run I learned how the mechanics work and figured out that everyone unit should be spec'ing into riding and armor because less weight and more movement are great around the board. Then having 4 warp staff uses a chapter triviliazed every map to a 1 turn win. I'm not gonna lie it was fun, it's just one of the worst in a series of great titles (better than fe1, fe2, fe11 and all the fates games but that's about all I'd grant it). I would not want to have this be the first game in the series having played every title. That doesn't mean I think it's bad just lacking in the aspects that make a fire emblem shine. If you ever get the chance I suggest you play radiant dawn it's always going to be my favorite title because of its fantastic map design and enjoyable defend chapters. It's ok If you pirate to play it, cause it's impossible to find and still costs ~$60.
